MY bed

I want to go and sleep in my own bed...
I have been away from it for almost this whole week.
I am still not even home.
Cousin's house, aunt's house...

I won a poker match a couple days ago!!

If you go to Step Mania's Website any time soon, you will get to see my entry to the stepmania contest. It is under the entry titled 'My Name Is Jankenpopp" because that is the song that I used when I made my submission. Plus, it has a link to my simfile site, but that site has a screwy logo that I need to fix soon.

I ordered a CD online yesterday. I went to Best Buy to look for it, but they didn't have it. Online, I had already checked the price, a dollar more than my Best Buy gift card had on it... So, when we were at Best Buy, I had an extra dollar added to my gift card and I ordered it when I got home! Here is a picture of the CD I ordered:

I can't wait for it to arrive. It is expected around the 6th or 7th.

I got into this really cool game called Pente. It is Italian I suspect. What you do is try to get these little glass pieces on this grid to be five in a row before your opponent does. You can also try to capture five pairs of your opponents glass pieces. It can get rather exciting and thoughtful.

I hope everyone has a good New Year.

Jankenpopp Responds!

Today, I get home from the mall, play Guitar Hero, then check my email. In my inbox, there was a piece of happiness!

I got an email from the band Jankenpopp about the Stepmania contest that I entered! Here is what they wrote:

"Hi Ryan,

I found your Stepmix
searching for my name in google
That's NICE !!!!
I used to work sometimes with a Dance Pad
some pictures here:

Yay! I am so happy that they emailed me! Plus, I got to respond in French! Hehehe.

If you aren't in the know, I used their song (licensed under the creative commons) for a simple. I entered the simfile to a contest from Stepmania. (The results should be in soon.)

So, just wanted to share the coolness of this email with you!

Check out their site at jankenpopp.com as you are surfez sur l'Internet!

Break

Finals are over.
Semester one is over.
Stress is temporarily over.
Christmas is beginning.

It is now Christmas break at school and all seven of my finals are completed. What a nice thing to just relax.

Last night, I went to the local library and I got some books, manga, and movies. I looked for the Ghost World soundtrack CD, but it was nowhere to be found. I got two books on computer stuff. The first one is about CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) the second is on C#. C sharp is kinda difficult, I think I'll just wait until I take the computer programming classes at school to get into any type of C programming.

The main reason I went to the library was to get a movie that I had on hold called Hero. It is a new Chinese Kung-fu movie. It is just gorgeous! The camera shots and fight scenes were amazing! I feel so fulfilled after watching that film! I highly recommend it.

I also got my hand upon Akria, the classic anime movie. I am eager to watch it. I actually haven't seen it yet. I grabbed some manga while we were there too. I got the first three Demon Diary books, volume one of somthing I can't remember the name, and also Dark Water by Koji Suzuki, the author of The Ring Trilogy.

Yesterday, I started to tip my toes into MS-Dos commands. It was rather entertaining. I learned the 'TREE', 'PRINT', and 'PING' commands. I really want to learn more about the 'PING' command, but my dad won't let me mess with the DOS on our computer. He is afraid I will ruin something... Heh.

I also went to Steak 'n Shake last night and got a wonderful meal. Their steak burgers are the best burgers in the world. I also got a huge banana shake to wash it down. MMMMM-MMMM! Their chili is a little disturbing though. It is 1 part oil and 1 part brown sludge and beans. I was sitting there stirring mine for a long time trying to get the oil to blend with the sludge and beans. After adding in my oyster crackers, it wasn't half bad. All you had to do was get over the fact that it kinda slides down your throat whether you want it to or not.

So, I am hoping for a good break and a good Christmas. I am also wishing you happy holidays. Ryo, you too, enjoy the warmth in Alabama.

*Jealous!*

100th post!

Yay, I have reached my one-hundredth post in my Dessart In the Desert blog! What a joyous day! And just in time for finals too!

Oh no! Finals!

This is bad, I must study, but not without making a blog post first.

Okay, so this weekend was great. I feel like I actually got something accomplished. What I found as I was surfez sur le Internet was a Pop'n music simulator by Stepmania. I found it through the Bemanistyle forum. It excited me since I have always wanted to play Pop'n Music, but it was always way too expensive. So, I downloaded the simulator and started to play. Unfortunately, Pop'n is not Pop'n with out a controller. So, I set out to see what I could do about it.

I went back to the forums and found a thread on how to make your own controller out of a USB keyboard. The only unfortunate thing was, I didn't have a USB keyboard! I called the local computer stores just to be disappointed in finding out that there were none in town for under $15, my budget.

So, I talked to my dad about it and he told me about this used computer parts store in Indianapolis. We went there there yesterday since we were already planning on going to Indianapolis to do some Christmas shopping. *gags*

So, we enter the store and the employee asks if there is anything we are looking for. After telling him, we search through this large bin a $5 keyboards to see if any of them were USB keyboards. To my excitement, my dad uncovered a nice, black USB keyboard with the PS2 adapter attached. HuZZaH!!

We bought this inexpensive, $5 keyboard, and left the store before the workers changed their minds.

I began my dissection of the keyboard. Removing all the keys but a select few, I finally finished. Now, all I needed was some sort of half spheres to make the buttons. Today, my dad took me to the local Target. We looked through all the sports items and eventually found these awesome, colored, foamy balls that would make perfect buttons.

I came home with my new spheres, cut them in half, glued them on, threw on some other keyboard decorations, and finally got to my finished product! The completed Pop'n Music controller was ready, and I have been having tons of fun playing on it. I can't wait to get really good at Pop'n Music. Currently, I am strung up between the light and standard levels. I hope to have a higher level by the end of the upcoming Christmas Vacation! Now, here is a picture of the $9 Pop'n Music controller made by me:

Well, I hope everyone that reads this has a good break, and finals. Bonne chance!

Nothing better than fresh fruit

I am sitting here at the computer, obviously.

Not only sitting, but eating some fruit. It is like a big fruit cocktail that my aunt made. Delicious. I love bananas. I just swallowed one. You should go slice you some fruit so you can join in on the experience also.

Yes, so stress is rising. I am beginning to get easily irritated by things. I think that because of this time of the year, I will die much sooner. I think that if finals were eradicated from schools, people would seriously live about five more years. This would in fact increase our countries average lifespan.

Woah, I think this fruit is starting to ferment. That last bite tasted a lot like wine. Hmmm, I wonder. Did she...?

...Nah.

So, my day...
...of course was stressful! Full of stress it was. I have been going to bed earlier and earlier, but still find myself very drowsy in the morning. My friend says that it is the weather. I think I agree with him.

Am a liberal or conservative. I think I need to figure this out. I suppose that I am liberal...
...or not, I am unsure. But, I am thinking I lean towards the liberal side. I am open minded and don't mind a good change. A good change. I am then, turning away from my parents, whom I am pretty sure are conservative.

Actually, I don't think I know what I am talking about. (Oh no, an adult-like conversation with myself. I am leaving my loved childhood.)

12.12.05

Industrial

Things-
I am sitting here listening to some music. Industrial music to be precise. It is my new 'thing.'

Another 'thing' that I have been partaking in is the making of websites. I felt like I spent my whole weekend building websites. This is not a bad thing at all though. I actually enjoy building them. It is a chance to use my new-found knowledge of CSS and blend art into it. How fun?

So, another plus: the DDR shirts are in! I just saw them not too long ago. They are so cool! I am wearing mine to school tomorrow. Yes! Another DDR time. These are the best.

Industrial-
On the more stylish side, I like chilling in my room now and listening to this industrial music. Industrial music is a mixture of dark techno sounds and metal/goth rock. It is very enjoyable. I really like sitting on my bed and acting like I am in a trance when I listen to it. It makes me feel mysterious. I like feeling mysterious. The mysterious atmosphere of industrial is very enjoyable. What isn't enjoyable is the though of the finals that are quickly approaching us.

Finals-
They start next week. Fortunately, next week is only a four day week, then the long awaited winter break is to happen. This will be my time of rejoice. I will hopefully get Guitar Hero for Christmas, and I will spend a lot of my break getting into that game. That shall make me assez heureux.

French-
Is constantly running through my head now. Almost annoying? Not quite, I am starting to get used to it. Unfortunately, whole sentences are coming to mind, only these wretched adjectives we have been spending oh so much time on. Good thing we took the lesson test today, eh?

Tension-
Is on the rise. These end-of-the-semester, before-the-final tests are driving me to the end of the parallelness in my world. Yes, I shall soon be in the other side with my stress. This means? This means that I shall soon be so stressed that, unbelievably, I will lurch into the parallel universe which my same self exists. Oh, nevermind, I wish that this made sense. I guess I am trying to say that I will soon become nonexistent from the tension of this stress. Stress is bothersome, I should vent.

I guess I am the great exaggerator. I really don't get as much stress as my peers, Ryo, for example. I really have nothing to complain about.

9.12.05

Up early..

So, I am up here very early, and guess what? No school today. So, basically I am up for no reason. I guess this means I actually will have a FULL day to just bask in the radion of my computer. I guess my computer doesn't really give off radion, but if it does, I shall have cancer in a few days.

So, no nono no nono no nono school today!

Hehe, I want to play my O2 Jam game now. BYE!

8.12.05

o2 jam

I got into a new internet game. It is called O2 Jam. It is sooo cool. It is like Pop'n music with a keyboard twist. You guys have to check it out: http://www.o2jam.com.my

When there, sign up, then we could meet up on there or something! Hehe.

So, it is snowing...
...like crazy.

I hope this means that there is no school tomorrow. As of now, there is only a two hour delay, but a cancellation seems very reasonable. I think people would be surprised if there wasn't a cancellation tomorrow morning. So, let's cross our fingers and do the snow dance over and over, maybe our wish will come true!

Oh yes, this reminds me, I saw a shooting start the other day. It was rather fascinating. I first thought that a UFO was crash landing in the distance, then I figured it probably was a falling star. Like a shooting star across the midnight sky...
yes, hyper hyper hyper, I can't sleep. Nonononono. What is with this? AHHHH!

3.12.05

When I die..

Ryo got me thinking...

When I die I don't want to be senile.

When I die, I don't want to be too old.

When I die, I would really like to be watching anime.

When I die, it would be nice to be sitting on hills of rolling grass.

When I die, I want it to be summer or late spring.

When I die, I don't want to be so sick that it is unbearable.

When I die, I don't want it to be quick, I want to ponder on it.

When I die, I want to be far from a hospital.

When I die, it may be bad if I were playing DDR, because then I would be too healthy.

When I die, I want to be alone.

When I die, I want to be on good terms with people.

When I die, as Ryo said, I don't want guilt.

When I die, I want my mother to already be dead so she doesn't have to see it.

After I die, I don't want to think anymore, I want it to be like it was before I was born.

Now I have what I want straight so I can die with hope. This took a lot of thinking to come up with what I want.

Hopefully, you die with hope also.

The Paper Sculpture Show

Yes, as I mentioned before, today was my long awaited field trip:

We board our white bus to set off on our way. Before leaving the school parking lot, the art teacher told us that she didn't know the way to Purdue's campus. This is very sad because if you live in the same town as a college, you should know how to get there.

Well, after her turning the wrong way out of the parking lot, we were on our way...
... the long way.

When we arrived, we couldn't find the spot we were supposed to park in. My teacher, still a little lost, decided that she should pull into a drive and park right next to a 'Do Not Enter' sign. Smart, eh? So, we walk in the freezing cold to the Purdue Memorial Union, a very nice building. We got a half hour to ourselves to eat, but while everyone was eating, I sped down to the basement to play a round of DDR with my friend Sadie. After that, I got a delicious soft pretzel and marinara sauce to eat. When I finished eating that, I went and got me a tea from Starbucks. My tongue is still numb from it's unbearable heat!

So, after all the goofing around, we got to finally see some of the art that we came there for, but not until we walk to another building. Once we got to the galley, we looked at all of the photographs there. They were all black and white pictures of scientific experiments. I guess it was trying to show that there was a link between art and science?

After seeing the photos, we went to one of the most exciting parts of my day. It was called the Paper Sculpture Show. It is a show where YOU are the artist (Wow, this sounds like some propaganda poster). There are a series of papers laying around in piles, and you choose which one you want to make. There are most likely going to be some examples hanging on the wall or on the shelf of every sculpture available. Once you make something from the instructions, or your own invention, you get to choose a spot to put it in the room. That way, the show is always getting new things and it is rather interesting to look at. Some people's sculptures were REALLY stupid. IE: a mans face with a other mans nose on it...

...yes, there have been little kids there. Beware.

So, after finally finding our way back to school from there, we got on another bus to come home on. It was a really fun day!

Jaan Pehechan Ho

"Jaan Pehechan Ho,
Jeena Aasaan Ho,
Dil Ko Churane Walon,
Aankh Na Churavo,
Naam Tho Batavo."

I am not quite sure why I like this Hindu song...

...it just flows beautifully. It is high energy, too!

I felt like crap today. More like I had to crap actually. But, since most people probably don't want to hear about it, I will just leave it at I felt really sick almost all day. I am feeling better now... Heh.

Tomorrow is the grand field trip to Purdue Art Galleries. It should be a great experience. We eat at the Union, and then trek on to the gallery. Hopefully I have fun there. Well, I will report back tomorrow with news on the trip!

Birthday and More Anime

Today about 45 years ago, my father was born. So, consequently, it is his birthday today. I have a cake in the oven right now. It seems so delicious. I can't wait to sink my teeth into it's red velvet goodness.

I watched a very strange anime on AZN Television last night. Tuesdays are their anime movie day. I am not quite sure what this anime was called, all that I know is that it was strange and a little frustrating. A boy was stuck in a dream world because of this dream demon. Strange, huh? The frustrating part of it was that he couldn't escape this dream demon, so when you thought he was waking up from his dreams, he was really entering a new one. You always knew he was in a dream, because the dream demon was amongst a crowd of people or kinda hidden in the background. The movie was almost clever. It seemed the creator tried a little too hard to make a twisted story that the movie almost seemed generically twisted.

I hate generic things. I like unusual things. I definitely hate cheesy things also. (This does not include Cheeseman. [You're not cheesy, your name just is where the cheese is. Haha.])

I have also been hard at work on my own personal web developing project. It is sort of my ode to what started me on web development. I bet you won't guess what it is. It is, sadly, neopets.com that got me started on learning HTML. The little shop editor used a HTML interface, so I was forced to use it. Unfortunately, being the cheap little child I was, I just found sites providing goodies, then copy and pasted. A simple method. I decided to give other people the same opportunity as me by creating my own copy-and-paste site. The blog is called The Shop Project. Hopefully it will become somewhat popular. Heh, I doubt it.

Laugh Tracks

You know what really gets on my nerves?

I bet you can guess from the title of the post...

Yes, those cheesy, repetitive, robot-like, annoying laugh tracks.

My sister was sitting in the living room this evening watching her regular Disney Channel show, no complaints. The complaint comes with the horrible sounds of the cranked up television. I was sitting in the kitchen, drinking the watered down, bitter hazelnut coffee that my sister makes. Almost relaxing. Until the show starts. My eyes dart at the clock: 4:30 pm. You know what this means? This means that it is time for that dreadful show formally known as Drake and Josh. I overhear it almost every day and am starting to recite lines along with the show. Today though, my focus wasn't on the words being said, it was on that dreadful laugh track. It is the same sound almost every 10 seconds. Tomorrow, I think it may be interesting to count how many times they use that one laugh track. Then, I could expand on this and count how many times they use the "Eeooooooowww" sound. That could get some stunning results. Unfortunately, I do not have near enough patients to put up with that. I had to force myself away from the dreadful noises by blasting my own music. Oh, how awful. Hopefully, I survive another day of this tom--- Oh yes, tomorrow is DDR club! Yay, I am saved!

GIMP

In my quest of discovering the possiblilities of the GIMP, I have come up with this cool effect that makes it look like blood.

See this picture and many more on My Deviant Art Page

I also did that water effect on the theme of this page.

Just Commit

Aging, progressing through time.

This blog has actually been around for quite some time. It may not seem like it, but this blog has been kept up by me for almost five months now. That's almost half of a year! Wow, amazing. I committed to something for that long.

I am proud of myself.

I am such a horrible person when it comes to commitment. I always an thinking that something will be great and fun. When I start, it starts to seem like it is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. Such as diving. I kept looking forward to the diving season during the summer, and thinking how perfect the sport was for me. I had no clue! That was probably as close to Hell as I am ever going to get during life. I wish I would've quit that, but I actually stuck with it. To prevent another Hellish experience, I recently quit Robotics. My father is probably very disappointed in me because of it, too. The president of the club is definitely disappointed in me the most. Oh well, just another person in this world that doesn't like me as much as they could. Hopefully I will keep this blog to show myself that I can commit, and maybe I will have more self confidence.

Today was long and very boring. I was home alone the whole day through. Even though this day was boring, it was very productive. I learned and applied CSS script. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. It is a way to create uniformity and organization to your web page. I think this was a large step for me in the quest for computer excellence. See the page I created here: My Productions.

I also attempted to learn a simple program called Blender, as I said before, in a series of video tutorials. I am very lost with this. I hope Ryo will come over sometime soon and show me in person how to use this. That will be another major step in this quest of mine.

I like blogs, you have a good chance to talk about yourself, and it is completely acceptable. How nice.

Blender

I am now in the midst of learning a 3D imaging program with a series of video tutorials. This program is called Blender. Blender was shown to me by Ryo, and has a very versatile interface. I suggest you check it out. You can do anything from modeling 3D objects to editing you video files.

Once you get Blender, I highly recommend doing the video tutorials. Without these, I would be lost and sad.

I just learned the menu system and how to customize it and I am getting ready to move on to the 3D viewpoint. Hopefully, by the end of these videos, I will be the Blender masta.

I didn't end up going to Indianapolis yesterday, because I wanted a friend to come over, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Maybe I can get someone over today.

Oh no, the next video is getting ready to start. BYE

Give a Reason For Life

The techno beat starts with the synth. Now, the bass is kicking in. Oh no, there is going to be an overload the main sounds all pound at once. They go for a bit. Now, voices start. Not an understandable voice to me, but rather something speaking fast indecipherable words.

Give a reason is a great song. It is from The Slayers. Heh, 80's anime rocks.

Now, I am embarrased to say, I actually made something from that absurd Dorm Room Cooking show on the announcements and it was absolutely delicious. Microwave cooking is completely underutilized. Or maybe over utilized, it depends on whom you ask.

Thanksgiving was yesterday. I met up with my family. In this family, my cousin is there. Her name is Molly. I was talking to her and she told me about her anime obsessed friend that draws fantastically. She showed me her website. I have to admit, she may want to work on her site building skills considering she just used the tripod site builder to make it, but her artwork is breath taking. I am so jealous of her fantastic skills. Here is her site: FooBlued!. She seems to be a very interesting person, and I am eager to meet her (I doubt I ever will).

I hope all of you readers had great Thanksgivings also. Tonight, I shall go on a voyage to the great state capital Indianapolis. Heh. Fun. Well, this is Dessart reporting out of duty. (???) <(0.o)>

19.11.05

Rurouni Kenshin

I got to go to the stores a couple days ago. That included my favorite, Hot Topic.

I was really looking for a sweat shirt to get for this horrendous weather, instead, I found an awesome Rurouni Kenshin shirt! So, that's what I wore yesterday. It made me have high self confidence. Weird, I know. For some reason, new shirts boost my confidence for that day.

Last night was so fun. It was Megan's surprise birthday party. We all met up at the local Go Kart place and she though she was just going for the heck of it. When she walked in and all of her friends were there, she started to cry out of excitement. It was a good time. Julia liked my Otaku pin so much that she took it off my shirt and started wearing it. I suppose she will wear it to school on Monday. Maybe I'll get it back from her then.

We also ate at Mancino's. They have delicious pizza. Mancino's is one of the few places in town that use real mozzerela on the top. OOOOOOh, that delicious cheese oils running down my throat with the fake parmesan cheese on top. That was a fabulous time.

The Go-Karts were pretty cool too. They are the new electric ones. Heh, they aren't too fast, but when you are with a bunch of friends, it is a great time.

I hope to have a good rest of the weekend to top of that fun Friday night.

Sometimes, I feel like this kid:

Stress With the Pencils

I got home yesterday after a tough time with cans and wind. Ahhh, the wind. It was tough. I had to ride my bike home at dusk against the wind on a very busy road. The wind was so strong that I was barely moving most of the 1.5 miles here.

Well, here I am. Alive, fortunately.

As I arrive home, I get out my backpack to work on my homework. To my disgust, my pencil bag was not in there! I don't think you can understand the degree of horrible this was on my importance scale. It did not only have my pencils, pen, and eraser. It also had my calculator, student ID, locker number and combination, and notecards. This meant bad things were to come unless if I could find it fast.

I went all evening looking for it. It was no where to be found, well at least at home. I had to sleep with this treacherous thought floating in my head. If this was lost for good, I am screwed.

I step up to my locker the next morning with hopeful thoughts in my head, "I probably just locked it in here and it is fine."

No, it wasn't in my locker. I got my stuff together and headed towards my last hour class to see if I left it there. The teacher was missing from the room. I checked around the desk, nothing. I had to go to first hour by this time. The minute bell rang.

I made it through that hour without much stress. I had to find this pencil bag soon! I check in my second to last hour classroom. No teacher again. I look up to the chalk board and there it is! With a jump and almost shriek (sad, I know) of glee, my problem was solved.

Heh. Funny.

Plaster face

A couple hours ago, I was sitting peacefully.

Well, almost.

I had vaseline spread over every inch of my face, including my eyebrows. While sitting there, people were putting plaster strips on my face. Yech. I finally got my head out, and there was my face right in front of me. Truly exhilerating.

Then, now quite as exhilerating, English. We were supposed to give our presentations today. I hate working with groups. If something is wrong, no one will admit they did it. I tried to today, but it was too hard. Ahhh, headache coming. I have to go collect cans for the can drive!!!

Game Simulation Day

Some people may not realize it, but tomorrow at DDR club, we are going to have our tri-annual Simulation Game Day. This is a day when people can try out simulation games other than DDR. Tomorrow, we are going to have Taiko Drum master and Amplitude available for people to try out. It should be great fun. We will actually have three Taiko drums set up for people to play on.

We are getting the T-shirt orders together too. Everything with DDR Club is going good. Oh yes, we are even going to have a tournament against the people from Purdue University. I have been speaking to thier DDR club president, and he says that he think a tournament against us will be fun (since he knows he'll win. Heh.).

Neigh.

What?

So, I hope my awesom Flash Flash Revolution shirt comes tomorrow. If it doesn't, I am speaking to the FFR guy again asking about it. I am kinda getting frustrsted. I mean, when you buy something, you shouldn't have to wait two months for it! I guess before when I thought I was ordering it, I was actually preordering it. So, that was the main cause for the long delay.

I like to watch Evangelion, but not that stupid Boondocks show. I can't believe how supid Boondocks is. At least it isn't as bad as Squidbillies or 12oz. Mouse. I mean, what happened to decent animation?

Abandoning My Duties

Okay, here's what going down:

I gave up on Nano Wrimo. Why? Too much work+lazy person=No success. Well, I got about a fifth of the way finished with the novel and I didn't have enough time on the computer because everyone is always on yadda, yadda, yadda.

But, the finished version is here: Prototype

Heh, I like the ending personally. Ha.

2.11.05

Nano Wrimo Has Begun

Nano Wrimo began yesterday. I am about 3000 words along. Here is a small excerpt from the beginning.

The young boy woke up. Where he was, he was not quite sure; his eyes were still glazed over. He soon noticed that he was moving; moving rather quickly actually. His eyes still hadn’t adjusted to the brightness all around him. Total confusion, then panic overcame this boy of only eleven years.
He tried to think, but thoughts didn’t come. Nothing came to him; eventually fear, but not much other than this blatant fear. He couldn’t remember what had happened to him, he couldn’t conceive of much, he couldn’t even remember his basic words. (Indescribable for text this is.) He did have a strange undefined emotion, fear; a normal feeling to him since this is the only thing in his mind experienced thus far.
He still sat in total oblivion and delirium for the next few hours because of the extreme light change. His eyes finally came to understanding (but not his memory). When they did, he quivered, and then screamed. What he had seen was a horrible sight; truly horrible indeed. He was in a bus resembling a basic school bus except the seats are removed. It seemed quite elongated and a bunch of hospital bed lie along the sides with the interior painted white. Everything in sight was this glowing white. Out the windows: white, the sheets on the beds: white, even the people occupying the seats had skin whiter than the mind can conceive. The glow was truly amazing; a blinding, beautiful, and still very atrocious sight.
The sound in this chamber of movement was very still; still as the sound anywhere could possibly get. The temperature was extremely comfortable. Shocking it was. It was a glee of death, the environment this oblivious kid woke up in. He stared around like a newborn child. He cried. This meant nothing to him, of course.
The people all around him all opened their eyes. The eyes of these empty shells were what we would conceive as the scariest thing in our lives, but to he didn’t even do anything as small as a flinch. The people stood up from their beds in order after pushing away their sheets, revealing they were all naked and of no particular gender. The boy just lay still; tears streaming. The empty shells approached him at different speeds as to all reach him at the same time. The boy of eleven stopped his crying because of mysterious instinct.
The peoples’ veins all started to bulge out of their skin. Their bald heads finally gave way to the first color the boy would have in his new memory, that of blue. The veins wove themselves together over the boy joining all of the empty shells together right over the boy’s belly button. Out of nowhere, the boy started to groan, then pass out. An umbilical cord started to emerge out of the previous scar. The cord reached up to meet with the entangled veins; a truly remarkable sight this was to the common bystander, no of which existed.
When the boy regained consciousness, he had sense for the first time in an unknown world. He reacted quick; very quick. It was faster than the average human being would normally react. He darted his body into an upright position. He was now in the middle of a place best described as a wasteland. Sand filled the ground in this place, but there were mysterious black objects streaking across the horizon. They looked smeared with lines coming off of them. He was fully dressed up in roughly woven hemp clothing. A sword of large dimensions lay at his side. A passerby would assume him a great warrior. The weirdest part of all was his age. He appeared to have aged many years since he last has consciousness. He was now a man; a man of his twenties. A man, according to a carving in his sword, named Vilo.
Vilo picked up his sword with great skill and started to walk. His memories from the strange experience on the bus were still with him. These memories, although faint, left a scar on him. Right in the middle of his belly was the constant reminder of what had happened. He had the belly button shaped not like a button, but rather like an ‘X.’ Why he had this scar, he did not know nor remember. All that he knew was that he was he was there and he felt like he needed to fight. His training began.
-----
Vilo walked for what seemed an eternity. In this time, he never thirsted, never hungered, or even tired. He was waiting; nothing else was in his head. It was a lust; a lust for this fighting. He finally got what he wanted, a Spractor fell down to his spot.
Spractors are not very difficult creatures to defeat, but the newly born warrior needed to fight something to satisfy himself. He drew his sword and the Spractor blew its little flame burst. This Spractor was only about a foot high, so he was not intimidating at this stage at all.
Vilo screamed out,”Power Slash!” Everything seemed to happen as it should. Vilo’s sword was directed right down to the Spractor causing it great damage. The Spractor still stood, apparently unshaken. The Spractor squealed, and then let out another flame. This time, the flame shot right at Vilo’s face, scorching it with great heat. Vilo needed to think of a good attack to use. He did not yet know the secrets of sorcery, so he would have to find some sort of power attack to get rid of this creature. He came up with the perfect attack and yelled, “Triple Attack Blow!”
The Spractor was clearly hurt this time, and the Spractor fell to the ground. Vilo had defeated his first enemy. The Fire Spractor disintegrated right into the ground in a matter of seconds and left behind a small bottle. Vilo picked up this bottle of red liquid and kept on his search.
He put one foot in front of the other. He walked, never slowing or gaining pace. He wanted to get to the next enemy as efficiently as possible. That was important to his survival. Everything that was happening was obviously the work of the empty shells. They were the workers of this new type of warrior called the “Prototype-R7.” Vilo was the third of the seven of these warriors created. By the time he had awoken, he was destined to fight and build his strength. He knew this and raced to become the top R7, because in the end, the Prototype-R7s would all have to come together in an ultimate battle. Vilo had to prepare for this quickly.
The empty souls created these R7’s as a kind of entertainment. They get strange pleasures from watching people grow into stronger, more powerful beings. So, one day, they decided that they would create a series of competitions for brainwashed humans they ‘created.’ Vilo was part of the 18th series; ‘R.’ The Empty Shells were planning on eventually turning all of the humans in the universe into a great network of these trained warriors.
The R series was a much better than the previous series. This series included the opportunity to build you skill to new dimensions. These R Prototypes could gain the skills of magic. This included Fire, Ice, Laser, and Mecha. The Empty Shells wanted to include White Magic, but decided to include that in the next series; ‘S.’
Vilo had something else fall out of the sky. It was an enemy with Mecha power. It was called a Venice-720. The 720 did not have a definite form, but instead took the form of whatever artillery shooter it was. For example, if the 720 was using its Auto-Mecha attack, it would take the form of something resembling a machine gun. In this case, the 720 did the first attack. It decided to use the 720-Accurate attack. This was a very powerful attack and Vilo saw it coming. When Vilo saw the 720 morph, he quickly threw the red potion he acquired at the Venice-720. This lowered its attacking abilities.
The 720 executed the attack causing mediocre damage on Vilo. Since Vilo didn’t have the opposite of Mecha (Laser) yet, he would have to use his sword and manually do the damage. He screamed out, “Power X!” The sword was guided towards the 720 for the attack. The sword came in contact with the 720, slashed a huge ‘X’ into the 720’s exterior causing it to malfunction, warp, and then ultimately explode.
Out of the flames flew a small bottle with a black liquid inside. Vilo picked up the bottle and was on his way. In the distant dust, he could make out a figure approaching. He wondered what kind of monster it could be. When it got a little bit closer, he noticed it was shaped just like a human. Could it possibly be a Prototype? Was this a Prototype from his series? The figure in the distance vanished out of sight completely and suddenly.
He decided not to let something like that bother him while he was on his mission to train. He moved on up over a sand dune. He walked up and down many sand dunes that day and didn’t run into any more fiends anywhere. He stepped around many black ash piles and weeds. There were random piles of foliage spraying out of the ground in all directions. He decided to go into one of these foliage piles with his hands and try to see if there was anything helpful available in them. After all, the best warriors should know the terrain they fight in as well as they can. Knowing terrain could be a matter of life and death.
It is very strange how such petty things can decide weather you live or die, but in this world, death is not uncommon at all. Although you can’t die from starvation, exhaustion, or thirst, there are plenty of other ways possible to die of to replace these. It is actually easier to die in this wasteland than it is on the planet Earth living on the street with no food, money, or home. That’s what makes this game so exciting to the Empty Shells.
He reached his hand into the foliage. It was very prickly, but the scared tissue on his skin didn't notice it. He found a little red coin within the plants. He picked up the coin and put it on the pouch that hung over his shoulder along with the black potion he received earlier from defeating the Venice-720.
He kept groping through the knee-high foliage with his hands hoping to find something good. He noticed a harmless bug that looked like a pill bug. It was about a foot long and quarter of a foot high. He just stood there watching it. He wasn't sure why he watched the bug, it just caught his attention.
The bug blindly moved through the forest of weeds and thorny vines with oblivion. Vilo felt like he related to this bug. He felt that same way when he woke up for the Empty Shells to operate on him. This bug made him feel a strange nostalgia. It actually made him want to go back to see the Shells, like they were his parents. His creators.
He moved on through the foliage. He saw a glimmer in the weeds. Spreading apart the thorny weeds with his hand, he noticed it was another coin. This time, the coin was shiny and orange. It had a strange rune carved into the center of both sides. The coin made him feel happy, but greedy to have. He stuck the coin in his shoulder bag.
He moved on through the thorns to find another unusual thing. He had stepped on a strange flower pod laying on the ground and it shot out a green goo that hit him in the face. Out of curiosity, he licked a little bit of it. It was extremely sweet at first, and then all of a sudden, after swallowing, it became putridly bitter. He wiped off his face and decided to move on.
Vilo soon came across a empty glass bottle with traces of green in the bottom. Had another one of the Prototype-R7's been here and left it behind? Was there a battle fought here? Are there fiends running around in the foliage? All of these thoughts were flashing through his brain-washed brain.
He picked up the bottle and placed it in his shoulder bag, and moved on to leave the foliage. As he was getting ready to lift his foot out, he noticed some of those flower pods with the green goo growing on a bush. He took one pod after another and squeezed the goo into the bottle he found. He wasn't quite sure if the goo was beneficial or not yet, but he thought it was worth a try to collect some.
Vilo finally stepped completely out of the foliage. To his surprise, he saw the figure on the horizin again! This time, the person was closer and moving much faster toward him. Vilo didn't take his eyes off the figure so that it would disappear again. He was so curious, he had to know if this was another Prototype in his series. If it were, maybe he could check up to see how far this one had progressed.
Vilo could start to make out the face of this figure. It was definitely a prototype, but from what series? The other prtotype was at such short distance that Vilo could've yelled out at him, and this is exactly what Vilo did.
“Hey! Are you a prototype from the R series?”
After a while, the other protype just opened its mouth and didn't seem to be able to get words out of his mouth. Vilo knew of this from the Learning. This was a prototype from the B-2 series. The Empty Shells were still very primative with their creations in these times. Only after this B-2 series did the Empty Shells program language into the brains. Although this was a primative model, the prototype was still rather strong. It had been walking around the Program Lands for many aeons. He had gained quite a lot of experience.
Vilo still though that he could defeat this primative model with ease. He drew his sword. The other prototype knew what this meant. It meant a battle to the death. The B-2 drew out his sword. Then, before Vilo could even start to think of what to execute first, he was attacked by the B-2!

MMORPG

It's called Maple Story.

Maple Story is my new game.

If you haven't notice my lack of recent post well, I just haven't posted for a couple days.

Maple Story has taken over my computer time. I have been playing it at every opportunity I get! It is basically sweet side-scrolling action. You are a character and you run around killing fiends. (Sorta unoriginal, huh?) But, there is a cool part! You get to choose your occupation. I have chosen to become a Magician. Ryo has chosen to become a bowsman. Cool, huh? Well, it is that easy to become a magician, bosman, theif, or warrior. You have to go through strenuous training (The Magician's being the hardest). So far, I can only do 2 spells. That is good enough for now, but eventually, I will gain more and more skill. Yeah, that's what girls look for!

So, check out Maple Story. It is a free download. Unfortunately, I doubt you will want to wait an eternity for the download so, dialup users are out (unless if you can get a friend to put the game on a disc for you). But, once you get the game, it is well worth it! So much fun awaits you at The Maple Story Website.

Captain Jack (Francisco Gutierrez) died yesterday morning.

Rest in peace Captain.

Quadaunt & Heisei.

Last night I went out to dinner. Of course, since food was involved, I had a great time. My dad took my sister and I to a restaurant called Heisei. It is REALLY good. There is a sushi bar, traditional floor seating, and then your regular tables to sit at. We ended up being seated at one of the tables. I have already done the sushi bar and floor sitting thing. I got the menu and started looking at the well-presented pictures of the dishes. I chose to get this huge dinner combo meal. It came with chicken liver dumplings, (I didn't know what these were until I already ate them)teriyaki chicken, potato salad, miso soup, salad, various tempera, cabbage, and this stuff that looked like deep fried bacon. I had a GREAT meal. I definitely want to go there again sometime. Not only is Heisei stylish, it is Deee---Lish---us.

After eating dinner, the waitress asked us about dessert. (d) We all decided to try green tea ice cream. It was so good! It went perfectly with the green tea of our meal. I am guessing that the green tea we were given to drink with our meal was real. Ryo is always telling me that real green tea is hard to acquire in America, and now I think I have. He tells me that they take a paste and mix it with water to get the authentic green tea. By the way the tea was, (with little leaf pieces floating around in it) I am guessing that it was the authentic stuff. I'll have to check with Ryo on that one for sure though.

After eating at Heisei, we went to my aunt's house to spend the night. It was a good time. She babysits these quadruplet and they were there too. They are in 6th grade now and they are so funny. They liked to play games a lot though. We played Clue, (I won) Spoons(x3), computer games, and pool a couple times. It was a pretty fun time.

Ryo got me into this program for Pocket PC called Advant Go. It is really cool. It feeds news to your PPC every time you sync it with your computer. It is fun to sit on the bus in the mornings, listen to music, and read the morning news. It is a good start to the day.

I hope my T-shirt comes today from Flash Flash Revolution. They sent it out three days ago first class mail. It should arrive soon.

I have to check the mail!!!!

It's an Honor

My mother went to parent/teacher conferences today. She just called and told me how it went. From what she said, it went incredibly well for me. Two of my teachers recommended me for honors classes (it's about time). My English teacher, Mrs. Brown, recommended me for honors English and my chemistry teacher, Dr. Carlson recommended me for honors physics (a little intimidating. I hope that Linda Peril listens to these requests and lets me be in at least one of these classes.

The reason I said 'it's about time' is because ever since first grade, I have been trying so hard to get into honors classes. It's all because my 5th grade teacher told me I had the potential for it. I think I may finally be getting my wish. I am flattered. As Madame G's shirt said today, 'Life is good.'

I actually did get into honors English in 8th grade. It was horrible. Not the class, but my expectations for what was supposed to happen after it. I though I was practically garunteed a spot in high school honors English. I was disappointed to find my schedule didn't have the honors English class written in recommended classes. I was so confused. I got a nice 'B' in the class and got really good scores on my ISTEP test. What happened, I am not quite sure. Amanda Barnett had the same thing happen to her. She is in my English class, so hopefully we both get into honors English. That would be swell.

Well, let's hope for the best and listen to the Initial D soundtrack!

Stuck Nightmare

It just released last night! View Stuck Nightmare now! Click below.

I hope you enjoy it. There should be more films in the same format coming out from me soon.

By the way, this movie took me a LONG time to make. Like a few months. So, cherish it. Heh heh.

Barefoot Gen

I just read this really good graphic novel.

It is a great book called 'Barefoot Gen.'

I found myself at the adult graphic novel section of my local library and randomly picked up this book, read the back, then decided to check it out. I am so happy I did. I couldn't put this book down! It took me only this one day to read this 300 page graphic novel. If you are unfamiliar with graphic novels, they are these really cool books that resemble comic books. They are different from comic books in that they actually tell a story and are for the more mature audience. They usually deal with deeper things than super heroes.

Well, this graphic novel, Barefoot Gen, is one of the best I have ever read. It is a Japanese family living in Hiroshima during World War 2. The book takes you right up past the atomic bomb dropping. It is very sad. I wish that World War 2 was never started, but it was, so I must live with it.

I told Ryo how sad it was that all the people's skin was actually melting on then while they were still walking around. He said, "That's not sad, it is just a fact of life." Well, I don't know about you, but facts of life may be scarier than facts of fiction. Actually, most times for me, they are.

Well, I guess there are 4 parts to this series and I have just read the first. That explains the abrupt ending on the last page! That was a little upsetting, but all in all, the book was excellent.

I want to go watch Nausicca.

Stuck Nightmare Preview

The release is a little off, but check it out. The real release is probably next week. Heh heh.

50,000

50,000 words.

Approximately 175 pages.

That's tough, but I am going to do it!

I am going to attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. It'll be tough and fun! I am so excited to be able to say that I did it. What an accomplishment.

This website Ryo found is putting it together. They have done this for six years. You can go to this site through the logo link under the 'partners' section on the sidebar.

I went to another one of my sister's soccer games yesterday. It was worse than the first. She lost, meaning that her team placed 2nd in the tournament. Pretty good, huh? It was so freezing there last night. I did take something home with me though. I took a couple pictures. Here they are:

Cool sunset there. Both pictures were from the same sunset. Amazing!

Wow, this Initial D soundtrack is AWESOME!

Soccer Game

I went to one of the three soccer games my sister had today.

It was scary, but relaxing at the same time. I would much rather attend the soccer game than sit in the auditorium and take the PSAT.

Well, the soccer game was sort of fun because I got to listen to some cool tunes on my PDA (Dell Axim X30). I just sat with my legs tucked neatly underneath me on the grass and listened. I like my techno. I am fond of my techno.

Well, as I was peacefully sitting on the grass, I was disturbed from my day dreaming many times. Most of the time, it was because of those soccer moms. Yes, the infamous soccer moms. They would stand right behind me and scream, "GO BLUE!!!" every time their child touched the ball. It is so annoying and predictable.

The second time I was disturbed was by far the coolest. There was a soccer ball kicked out of bounds directly at me. Yes, innocent, peaceful me. Fortunately, I was trained by a computer program and had awesome Matrix moves. I dodged that ball like it was a bullet coming from the machine gun of a virus. It was cool, but a little nerve racking.

I didn't want to attend the game, but as you know, I will do anything for a good meal. My dad said he would take me to get lunch as long as I went to my sister's soccer game afterwards. I agreed and we went to Chik-Fil-A. I got a #5. A #5 is an 8-piece nugget combo with waffle fries. Oh, how I love a good Dr. Pepper to wash it all down. It was great.

Well, my day was relaxing, full of matrices, and delicious all at the same time.

Lilium R0x0rz. So do you.

The Pit & The Pendulum

Have you read Edgar Allan Poe before?

If all you've read from Poe has been the Raven, that doesn't count. To see his true work, read The Pit and The Pendulum.

It is an awesome story. It is a gruesome story, too! I just read it in English class today.

Well, this guy is thrown into a dungeon because of his religious beliefs and he is sentenced to death. He wakes up in the pitch black dungeon and gropes around for something comforting. Instead, he finds a huge pit in the middle that, if he fell into, he would definitely die. After passing out and waking up again, he finds himself tied to a plank with a huge scimitar swinging down slowly read to slice him when the time came. Fortunately, with rats' help, he got out of the bindings. Then, when you think he is safe, the walls of the dungeon start to move in on him! He is forced into the pit, then saved at the last second by General LaSalle (of all people).

You can actually read the short story here: The Pit and The Pendulum.

This is a great book and I highly recommend you read it. It is truly twisted and exciting.

White Rabbit candies r0x0rZ.

Oh yeah, I have to take the PSAT tomorrow! <(>.<)>

My Mother

I just sat down here at the computer; I started to read my mother's little Crayola Crayon Pad.

I expected to find drawings from my sister scribbled all over all the pages. Instead, I found a story that my mother has obviously started to write. It is clearly a children's story containing happiness and bright colors. That's what my mom likes, bright happiness and children.

She used to teach preschool, but now she doesn't.

She always is waving to the little children when they walk by in their little sweaters and dresses. It is almost annoying.

Well, this same mother wants on the computer now, so this will be cut short.

MSNBC is Dirty.

Yeah, so I was working on my homework assignment and I was looking up a good news topic to write about and here are some of the weird headlines I came acrossed on MSNBC.com:

> Live dogs as shark bait? No, it’s not a hoax ---Sounds yummy, huh?

> Smurfs bombed in new UNICEF ad ---How could they? Smurfs smurfin' rock!

> McConaughey is money, but does he have 'It'? ---Are they questioning him being male?

> Vikings allegedly had sex party on boats ---No comment

> Drink Me, I'm 'Fun' ---Heh heh, it is definately an innuendo.

> More bones of hobbit-sized humans discovered ---Yay! Go Hobbits!

> Gator-guzzling python comes to messy end ---You can never trust those snakes, even if you are a gator.

> Naked came the burglary suspect ---They tried to make the title sound all 'children bookish.' Haha, that won't work.

> What would a bird flu quarantine look like? ---Large and scary.

Well, now we know MSNBC is creative are you?

I assure you, I didn't read any of the articles I featured here. The real meanings of the news titles are unknown to me. These are in fact real headlines.

Poem- She- Weird

I was bored.
I don't knw why people like this mediocre poem.
But, since they do, I am going to put it here to see if you (readers=1)like it too:

She looked up at me with a stare
sitting at the table she glared

to the higher me.

I felt spoiled and a fool
She was the higher one

She was higher.

The depressed soul with eyes
was higher than me.

Intelligence glared up at me with sadness.

Yeah, my mom even liked it. Haha.

Impromptu Speech & Annoying English Habits

Today, I was nervous.

I was nervous for one (1) reason only.

Today was the day for our class to give impromptu speeches.

'Oh no, I didn't do anything to prepare! Oh yeah, I couldn't have done anything to prepare!' ran though my head over and over. I felt the nervous twitch creeping up my neck. Bow! My neck twitched! Wait...
...my neck doesn't twitch.

So, I went up there. I was the first to volunteer. The craven side of me had been defeated this once. I was the first one up there. (The real reason is that I really had to pee. Bad. So, I wanted to do my speech then go to the restroom.)

In speech class, the speeches work like this:
You draw three notecards from a big bin containing note cards with nouns, quotes, or current events on them. Luckily, I didn't draw a quote. Luckily, I didn't draw a current event either. I had a full hand of nouns. H--------

So, I had a choice to make. All I remember is that through the agony of an about-to-burst bladder, I picked 'summer' as my topic. Summer, what can I talk about with that? I only had one and a half minutes to prepare my cards. I wrote down a good main point, 'Places people go on summer vacation.' Good, I can talk about that for a long time, but I need at least one more main point.

I have it! My second main point ended up being a weak one indeed, but it worked. I talked about how some people get seasonal disorder because the beloved summer had come and pass. Yum, summer is delicious. The lemonade, the swimming pools, no school; just pure delight.

Well, I gave my speech, met the two minute time requirement, and dashed off. I dashed to where ---? That's right the restroom.

Now that I finished that story, I can get off subject a little.

My English teacher is starting to get on my nerves. She is a great teacher and all except, she has a major flaw. Well, to me it is a flaw but to others, it could be considered a strength. Here's what she does, (I did it above as a transition) 'I went to school and got a lot of -----.' Then she swings her hands around so we will fill in the blank. And of course, the whole class says, 'homework!'

She does this all the time, probably 10-20 times per hour. I understand why she does it. She is trying to keep our attention, but she does it for the stupidest stuff. Today, she said, 'And then the character ----- (motioned for response... No response) went ----- (motioned for response... One girl says 'home.' [thankfully])

See what I mean. It's pointless and annoying.

Well, I think I am going to go sketch now.

Or something...

Sketch

Here are my best sketches:

Pretty good, huh?

Draw Skillz

I had something weird happen to me the night before last while I was sleeping

When I woke up, I posted here (twice) then I went downstairs, took my shower, got out, then started to draw in my sketch book. I drew two pictures and after the first one was completed, I looked down at it and I was stunned at how good it looked. I drew my second one and again, I looked down at the completed piece of work and WOW! This one was even better. How strange.

Later that night (last night) I drew another picture. I was so shocked after this one that I ran upstairs to show my mother the finished picture. She said, "Did you draw that just now?"

I replied, "Of course."

"Wow Ryan, that's amazing. What's your trick?" (I think that she thinks I trace them)

I then explained to her how I didn't trace the pictures and I think she believes I didn't trace them now.

I love drawing now that I can do it well.

Hopefully I'll get some of these pictures up for you to see.

8.10.05

Sousuke Sagara

I got a sketch book the other day. I have been having a lot of fun with it. Guess what! I have a picture that I sketched with it scanned for you to see! Here it is:

Another thing happened on Thursday. I went to the local library (I sound like Reading Rainbow now) and got Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. I was so excited and then I got home. This was one of the most disappointing anime series ever!

If you ever get this, I highly recommend that you watch it in Japanese. I usually check out both voice casts to see which I like best. The English voice cast on this anime is absolutely horrible! They all have southern accents that make the characters sound like complete hicks. Arugha.

Well, At least I got to see it. Maybe I shouldn't get excited about anime I haven't seen anymore.

The Slayers slay very well.

Oh I wish...

Oh I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Weiner.
That is what I'd truly like to be.
'Cause if I were an Oscar Mayer Weiner,
Every one would be in love with me.

I saw the Oscar Mayer Weiner Mobile in the parking lot of this craft supply store a few days ago. Very weird, huh? If you don't know what the Oscar Mayer Weiner Mobile is, here is a picture that I didn't take (I didn't have a camera on me at the time):

It was truly a strange experience.

I Can Sing a Song For You & Me

I can sing a song for you and me.

Yes, the We Love Katamari sound track is completely unbelievable!

The Everlasting Love song is dashing through my head, then wait! Baby Universe is tuning in now! Here comes Bluffing Damacy. Amazing!

Wow, these are songs you truly want stuck in your head. They are those catchy tunes with great instrumentals and vocals. Amazing!

I like this sound track so much that I put the game on the everlasting tutorial level and choose what ever song I feel like listening to and KA-Blam! I have the music playing. I usually turn the TV off when I do this to save precious power. Man, those are some JacKed uP BiLls!

Well, not like I have to worry about paying the bills.

Ahhh, Mother is calling me and getting angry. 'Dinner's on the table.'

4.10.05

Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi?!?!

What is this?

Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (Abenobashi mahô shôtengai) you say?

Wow, that title sounds awesome. I want to know more!

Well, this is exactly what I was thinking. Since I was so curious about this strage titled anime, I researched it.

Well, the story for this movie is simple. There are two families that own businesses at a shopping arcade. When the shopping arcade is threatened of being shut down, things turn very weird. The family is thrown into strange worlds ment to be parodies to video games or other anime. They must find their way back home.

Will they make it?

Sounds interesting, huh?

Well, I made a cool logo for my DDR Club site in the news section. Here it is:

Au Revoir.
I want to know more about Les Miserables.

Cheetos & An Interview

Wow, third month...
amazing...
...but not as amazing as the brilliant Ryo.

The reason I am sitting here posting at quater after instead of sitting at school filling my brain with information is because school was released early.

I am eating Cheetos right now. The only vitamin that Cheetos have is Vitamin E. The funniest part of this wrapper is, they don't want to give away their colorings...
They only put that there are artificial colors including yellow 6...
...what losers. 'But I have spent my whole life trying to come up with a product colored as disgustingly as these Cheetos!'

' = " = quotation marks (for Ryo's children friends' sake)

Yes, I got interviewed by the school newspaper today about DDR club. Just to be mean, let me tell you. The school newspaper absolutely, positively Sux0rz.

Well, goodday mate.

My Wife, Lisley

This always happens to me, I type a really long post then right when I near the end of it, I loose it in one way or another. So, here is what I remember from the post I just wrote:

Je suis tres stupid! (I am very stupid)

I haven't posted for a while, this is now going to be explained...

Yeah, I didn't post because I was gone all weekend and didn't really have access to the Internet. Well, maybe the excuse wasn't that bad, after all, it's true.

So, my friend Lisley (pronounced Lesley) is moving tomorrow <(>.<)> I think I am going to go cry now...

...Okay, I am back.

Yeah, so I will never see my wife again.

That is an inside joke that needs some explaining. So, one day a couple weeks ago at lunch, I was watching for Lisley to come to the table and I didn't see her coming. When she arrived, I said, "Lisley, I was waiting for you to come down the isle but I didn't see you!"
As you can imagine, this escaladed into some strange joke about us getting married so, we are now unofficially 'Husband & Wife.' EEEEEE!

I had a good weekend though. Do you want to know what I did yesterday instead of typing here? I'm sure you do...

..I went to the local creek with my aunt and her friend to go kayaking. I had a blast. It was about a 3 hour trip that I just did not want to end. I was so happy I went. It was the first time I ever went kayaking. STOP IT DOG!

The day before, on Saturday, it was my cousins birthday. This cousin is responsible for most of my likes and dislikes. She got me into anime, DDR, and Katamari Damacy. But, I got here into Neopets many aeons ago. Fortunately, I have gotten out of the Neopets thing. Hehehe. NO!!!! I am sounding like the dog from Duck Hunt.

Speaking of dogs, my dog is scratching the door/tearing it up, so I must dash to let her out. Goodbye.

Good Doggie.

Fast Food

I am sort of fond of fast food, but not as fond of it as some obese Americans are.

I won't eat McDonald's because you never know what you're going to get. It is not like a box of chocolates because even though you don't know what you are going to get, you will enjoy it. McDonald's is different. Sometimes, you can get a horribly disgusting, dry sandwich. Those are very depressing and nauseating to get.

Burger King deserves appraisal. I love the char-grilled flavor their burgers have. I have to make sure they didn't put onions on though. What disgusting breath onions give you. The chicken nuggets at Burger King definately top McDonald's. McDonald's fries may beat Burger King but Burger wins when it comes to nuggets, burgers, chili (well, beat Wendy's at least), and desserts.

The choice is clear. Go to Burger King and be happy.

Don't even get me started on the appalling Wendy's. Eeeeeewwwww.

25.9.05

Full house.

I can't stand television shows such as Full house or Seventh Heaven. They are so annoyingly fake and the families are almost perfect. They are only almost perfect because they always have petty problems that the whole episode is spent trying to solve. The problem is never solved until the whole family works together in unison to get the problem solved.

How annoying.

What I do prefer, is Family Guy. It is always something new every time you watch it. It is completely unpredictable and it is hilarious. Just like Futurama, it creates a fun environment that is enjoyable to be in and watch.

Who wants to watch an ordinary family with ordinary problems when you can watch a unique family with very strange and funny problems?

Katamari On The Swing

I can't miss the sunlight.

Na ewwww baba baba ba ba ba ba Katamari Damacy

Ne na ne ne ne nana na na ne Katamari On The Swing!!

Yes, it's the theme song to the new Katamari Damacy game, We Love Katamari.

I love the game so very much. I think that I just may play it after I create this post...

...I am so eager. BYEBYE

Move With Your Moves Baby

Yeah, so DDR club started. It was amazing.

When I went up to the room the meeting was going to take place in, there was a huge crowd surrounding the door waiting to get in. I was so surprised at the club's popularity. There ended up being around 30 people there. Funfunfun.

Since there was such a large amount of people, the club was spread out amongst 3 different classrooms! It was 'total insanity.' But, all in all, the hard work that went into starting the club paid off.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

I got We Love Katamari Last night!!!! Heck yes...

It made me shout with joy when I watched the new introduction on the television screen of my bedroom. The pure swing of the Katamari song was quite exhilarating. I watch the intro every time I start the game up.

I also joined this math club thing today. I hope I fit into it. I hope it isn't that big of a deal and I end up ruining it. Maybe I should've found more out about the club before I joined. I guess it was peer pressure that influenced me.

Also...
...When I lit the grill last night, it wasn't working! I turned the gasoline input up a little and WHOOSH! The flames burst into my face and charred all the hairs in my nose off. After blowing the charred hair out of my nose, I finally got to cook the chicken.

Burn, chargrilled----nosehair.

I don't like it...
...I don't like it one bit.

It's this stupid Internet Explorer. The only way I can make a post on this blog is through Internet Explorer...

...ARRRRRRR! (Speak like a pirate day is over.)

So, yes, I have come around to using it to make this post. Before, I had this really long post typed out about DDR club and its great success...

...Firefox had an error...

umagosh.

DDR Club approval

Yes,
DDR Club has finally been approved and we are ready to go!!!

I am completely excited. I hope enough people show up.

I got the Before The Storm CD by Darude. It is so awesome. I am listening to it right now. dared is a Finnish techno group. Their most popular hit is Sandstorm. It is one of my favorite techno songs ever.

So, it's Friday night and I don't have anything planned. I hope something happens tonight. If I wanted to, I could go to the Harrison football game. I'm afraid that if I go, no one will talk to me and I will be completely bored.

Enough with me, what about you? Comment to tell me how you feel about your Friday night, if you want to. But, obviously, nobody will put in a comment anyways.

Excitement in the Classroom

Yes, there has been lots of excitement brewing in my system. Why?

DDR club is starting on Tuesday.

That is if it get approved by the administration. I'm pretty sure it will though. It seems to be appropriate for school. I mean, come on, you get a good work out and have fun at the same time! What more could you ask for?

I'm just sitting here...

...sitting here listening to DDR music thinking about how cool this club will be. It will definitely be the best club at the whole school of the high!

Can you believe that this blog has already had over 50 entries? I can't!

GREEN DAY!!!

YEAY! I saw GREENDAY! I had so much fun!

I wish I could go see them again.

::So we get there::
and get patted down by the security guards. We walked to the "Club Level" of the stadium where the entrance to our luxurious suite was. We finally found it and entered. The set at the concert was amazing! I got quite a rush when I first looked out to the stage.

There was a opening band called "Jimmy Eat World" playing when we got there, but that's not who we came to see so they weren't all that exciting.

After "Jimmy" stopped playing, we all rushed down to the concert tee stand to get our concert tees. The crowd around the vendor was unbelievable! We waited for a while, but since we didn't want to miss the opening act, we decided to leave and come back later during a boring song. (which there weren't really any)(Megan's dad went to get the sirts for us later)

Because of a complicated mixup, we almost missed the opening act, but we ran into our suite just as the 2001: A Space Odyssey Intro was playing. Green Dat came RUNNING OUT AND EVERYONE SCREAMED!!!!!!! They broke out into American Idiot and people screamed EVEN LOUDER!

After Green Day did their little run off the stage dilly, they came back since we chanted their name. (I guess this always happens at concerts)

They performed SHOUT! and We Are The Champions, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, and then Good Riddance as the final song after they returned from their run off the stage dilly. Before that, they played all original songs from the American Idiot album.

Well, thanks TONS to Megan and her dad! What fun!

Don't want to be an American Idiot!

Wait, I already am...

DDR at the High

I am creating a Dance Dance Revolution Club at my high school and I just completed the official website for it.

On this site I integrated iframes, complex tables, and even inter-frame linking!

It took me quite a few hours to complete this, so enjoy!

Korea

I went out to eat last night with my aunt. It was a fun time. I really enjoyed the authentic experience I got.

We went to a Korean restaurand calle Gaza Grill. It was SPICY and delicious!

We entered the resteraunt and we were seated. We decided to try to sit in the authentic seats, so off we went. Of course, we had to remove our shoes before going to the formal seating area. In this area, the seats are small "L" shaped peices of pliable wood with cushions on the bottom of them. The chairs were placed around small tables about knee-high. We snuggled down into the chairs while the host told us a breifing on Korean food and explained how the restaurant was set up.

I ordered Korean Miso soup, my aunt ordered a seafood fried rice, and my sister ordered steamed clear noodles. My favorite of the three dishes was my own, then my aunt's, then last, my sister's. Hers kind of tasted a little strange. She didn't really eat much of it either.

Before your food comes, they give you four different apetizerish dishes to feast on while waiting. There were fish cakes, broccoli, potatoes (pickled), and then this really spicy dish that was made out of cabbage. I can't quite remember the name of it.

Besides the prices and long wait, the Gaza Grill was a great place to eat.

Now, I must mow our lawn.

Hippie Chick

Yes, I entitled this blog entry "Hippie Chick." I wanted to show you this picture that is entitled "Hippie Girl":

What do you think? Post comments.

I also made this picture that looks similar. I used the same technique to make this one as the "Hippie Girl" one:

All of these pictures are on Deviant Art plus more. You should check them out sometime.

So, my day was fine. Last night I got these cool clothes.

First, I got this cool Corpse Bride shirt. It r0x0rz. Check it out for yourself:

Then, I decided to "go for a new style." I got this shirt along with my Corpse Bride shirt:

And no, that isn't me in the picture. It is just the guy from the Hot Topic website. So, that's what I wore to school today. Very exciting.

I hope my FFR shirt comes soon.

Ryo is Smart.

Ryo is smart.

A girl named Samantha sits next to me in my speech class. She was telling me a story. Here it is:

"Oh my gosh, I have to tell you something. You know how you told me about Ryo's site a few weeks ago? Well, my dad found his site in my history and he checked it out. The other day, he was telling me about how smart Ryo is and how he can't beleive how smart Ryo is and blah, blah, blah. Then, he started asking me how I found the site. I told him and...
...so yeah. Ryo's smart."

Yes, I think that is about how it went. Well, just remember. Ryo is smart.

The new background is cool, Huh?

Cleveland

I have come back from Cleveland. I traveled for a total of fourteen hours to get there and back, and now, I think it was worth it. I had a great time. I got there late Friday night, some may say early Saturday morning, and I went right to the bed set up for me.

ZZzzzzzzzz...

Aahhhhhhh...

I awoke the next morning and was ready for something to eat! I had a delicious pistachio muffin and got showered and dressed. When my cousin's husband arrived home from a sporting event he was coaching, we were off to an amusement park. It was a fun place with lots of rides, sideshow games, and over-priced food. The best part of all was that there was almost nobody at the park! We never waited in a single line the whole day! It was grand! We got to ride every single roller coaster in the park. The park we went to is called Geauga Lake.

We came home that night and ate some delicious cheese burgers off the grill, then went to bed. I awoke again yesterday morning prepared to take another seven hour ride home. Before the seven hour ride, a few of us watched the movie Se7en. It is about a serial killer that kills people based upon the seven deadly sins.

Yesterday was a day filled with 7...

We finally arrived home and went to bed. Here I am now telling you the story of my voyage to Cleveland, Ohio.

I hope my Flash Flash Revolution shirt comes soon.

Deviants

I am a Deviant Arter. Heh. I laugh at my own horrible English. I have done a few pieces and posted them on an art community named Deviant Art. There is a link to it on the sidebar. To get to my site, go to Dessart and Deviant Art. I am planning on posting a couple more pieces tomorrow including a piece that I entered into the local fair.

I will add some sculptures from my sculpting class also. These will be the coolest, but, I haven't finished any sculptures yet. I am nearly finished with my sea scape. It will be swell. I will definitely post it on here and Deviant Art.

I have also really gotten into tea. But, I'd rather talk about how I am really into making techno/dance/electronica music. It rocks my world. I love freeware that I get on the internet that helps me with my artistry in the music department. I can't believe I am saying this but, I am kind of missing band right now. It would be so fun with out the atrocious Mrs. Fallis on my back.

Those were horrible days that I don't even want to write about.

Well, I'll keep you posted on my various artwork including my music. Possibly for download. Speaking of which, if you go to my Techno Spirit site, you can get some of my very early works of Techno.

Ginseng is in me.

Anime Party 2

I had anime party part 2 at my house last night. It was loads of fun. Except for the times when my sister and her friend were annoying the crap out of my friends and me. I spent almost an hour getting my room cleaned and getting a ceiling hung up in my room. What does my sister do then? She rips my ceiling down and then throws disgusting crackers at my friends heads. She is so immature thinking that she is funny when she does that. At least she got punished when my mother got home.

The school bus comes in about five minutes, so, time to start up a horrible wednesday filled with many tests. I actually had about 2 hours and 45 minutes of homework last night. It was hard and tough, but I made it throught the night.

I really have to go out to the bus stop now since the bus is coming to my homw soon.
bye!

Lemon Gensing Tea

I am sick.
It is not fun.
I still am going to school.

BUT!!!!!

I got some Lemon Gensing tea. It is really good.

It's Lipton...

I'm watching Family Guy on internet TV and my sister is annoying the crap out of me. She is playing helpless little girl. Aargh.

She wants me to make a soft preztle for her but, I think that she needs to learn to do things for herself. She is always acting like she is helpless and she will never learn how to do anything. My mom forces me to help her out. Hmmmmm.

I don't have very good writing skills right now. Sorry.

Infinity and Kitty

Infinite...
...how can we imagine it?
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Just think of it as a huge dougnut. This is the theory.
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
If something is curved to such ahuge extreme that nobody can notice the curve, it seems to just be a straight line. For all we know, infinity could be the biggest doughnut we could imagine. Just looping around in circles and never coming to a halt. The Universe, in my mind, is infinite. It is a huge doughnut. It makes sense. After the Big Bang, everything exploded out from the small point it was once at ending up in a doughnut around the original point. Why couldn't this be true?
-------------------------

And then, there is the Kitty. I made a new peice of artwork that is now on Deviant Art. Check out this surreal Kitty head. It will make you happy and want to caress the Kitty:

Then, go watch some Salad Fingers.

GOOGLE CHAT!

I am talking to Ryo's sister on a new program by Google. It is called Google Talk. It is so fun, all you do is talk over a microphone and turn your speakers on and talk to your friends live. It is great!

I wonder how you would handle talking to a lot of people at once?

ANYWAYS!

I didn't have homework today! Yipee! But at the end of school today, this guy directed a sign at me saying a profane message. It was so immature and annoying.

Well, I played Final Fantasy all afternoon. Fun times. Disk 2 sucks.

New Flickr pics and more to come!

He are a few favorites:

FFIX

Wow, I have really gotten in to Final Fantasy. I used to play a lot, I got out of it, then now, I got back into it. Last night, instead of writing an entry (sorry!) I desperately tried to beat the first disk of Final Fantasy IX. I did! It was a grand time.

Since I don't have an immediate need for the first disk, I lent it to my friend Rachel. She's quite the FF fanatic. She has played a lot of the games and she beats them very quickly. I never try to beat them fast. I like to screw around and see what all the game has to offer.

FFIX has fantastic graphics. It is the last FF game on PSone. I can't beleive PSones can handle the graphics.

The game is obviously long considering the four different disks.

YES! I found out how to play multiplayer battle on FF. I can't wait to have someone try it out with me. Maybe my sister will when she gets home from school.

I ordered pictures from this site called Snapfish. They will print your digital or analog photos for only 20 cents a print. It is a great deal, I know. I got my first 20 prints free, so I have only ordered 17 of them. This means I get three more ofr free!

Check out Snapfish and then stray away from my yellow watermelon. It's MINE!

21.8.05

Pechelbel Canon

My new love is the song Pechelbel Canon. I have really come to a liking of it. Well, check it out for yourself: HERE

It is from a site not affiliated with mine. I love the song. It is even my cell phone ring tone. Well, I have to finishe up homework now. I'll report back later.

Picture Edit

I worked for an hour and a half to edit a picture that my brother scanned for me with his new scanner. I went old school and used paint to edit it. I think I did a pretty good job with it too! The picture was originally drawn with crayon on notebook paper. It is of The Prince Of All Cosmos from Katamari Damacy. Here is the original picture that was scanned by my brother with no editing at all:

And here is the final edited version:

Fun Fun Fun. It will be on Flickr.

Fork Tongue

I went to Algebra 2 today. Just like a normal school day. I didn't know what was in store for me yet. Here's the scoop:

So, I sit down in class, watch the teacher look silently around the room to do attendance. We then started. The teacher didn't say anything to us. Instead, she walked up to the board and wrote, "I had an operation on my tongue last night, so I can't speak. That means I have a forked tongue now."

Our class was shocked in disbelief. But, the teacher seemed to be telling the truth. She didn't say a word the whole class time. It takes quite a good teacher to be able to accomplish that. She kept the class in her control the whole time. People could've easily taken advantage of her, that didn't happen though. I guess our class was a little sympathetic, maybe.

She wrote on the board, "I have something in common with Richard Simmons now."

I didn't know what that meant, but it was funny. We get to see her forked tongue on Monday. Excitement, excitement!

Oh yes, my sister brought a pineapple to school today.

COMA SCARPER

I have a new movie idea. It came to me as I was in the restroom. Here it is:

Every being is in a coma. We are all in a reality that isn't. All of our actual bodies are stored in large buildings caller Coma Scarpers. Yes, Scarpers. When people die in the reality our minds are in, the people in the Scarper wakes up from the coma. They then venture out and see what the world is like. It is more concrete than the world we know of now. Just like dreams are more abstract than real life, being in the coma is more abstract than the actually world with the Scarpers.

Yes, a lot of stuff could happen with this genious plot.

18.8.05

Concrete Learning Material

Hello,

I learned something today and I want to share my knowledge. Every person should teach their children to count. Yes. Simply count.

I'm not talking about the perspective of counting most American people have. I am talking about actually counting instead of memorizing a phrase.

Okay, when you have a child, if you ever do. You should teach them to count by giving them three pencils and say, "There are three pencils here."

"There are six pencils here," you say if you put six pencils in their hand.

Learning children are sponges that suck up information. You need to provide actual substace for them to suck up instead of some abstract phrase. Abstract phrases aren't yet recognize by children...
...or at least we don't think so.

Well, maybe "Baby genius" was correct. For all we know, babies could live in a sort of alternate reality that we don't even know exists. Maybe they are planning to take over or even end the World as we know it.

Haha. What a cool conversation with myself.
