That blond hair, and those blue eyes.

Why can't we live in our dreams? I know that some dreams would be absolutely horrible to live in, but some would be so perfect to live in that you would never get sick of it. I had this dream last night. I've been thinking about it all day. I hate dreams because they do this to me. I can't concentrate with these images running through my head. They were so wonderful, but now I am in this harsh reality that most likely will never produce anything as great as what I experienced last night.

Throughout the day, different things kept reminding me of this dream. Those blue eyes that gazed into my face. When I think about this now, a bubble lumps into my throat, and I begin to blush. It isn't real, stop doing this to yourself. But, why? Why can't this be real? Why can't I just curl up into this dream and have it never end? He was so nice. He was happy, and so was I.

Do not get me wrong. There was some evil in this dream that embodied a real person. I tried to deal with this, but the whole part of the dream sickened me, but once we met up again, everything was fine. Nothing mattered anymore. Not that strange midget in the closet. He didn't matter. We were happy. Why can't I return? Why does this have to be stripped from me?

I went to a busy festival today. I looked through the people hoping to see the person from my dream. A couple times my eyes tricked me, but I never saw anything. Dreams aren't real are they? Maybe I saw this person somewhere. Maybe this person exists, because dreams are inspired. Who was it? The thoughts are a lot to bear. This entry is helping.

I wonder if I will dream of this same instance tonight. If I did, I might sleep in rather late. It's worth sleeping a whole day just to be in this dream. It's worth sleeping my whole life just to be in this dream.

Everybody knows. I will get over it, and I will look back on this entry and realize that I am depressingly sad to obsess over this dream so much. Well, let me obsess, it makes me happy. I will get over it. There will be no heartbreak- how could there be?

Update 9-8-06: I remember who it was!! The person is real! It was the hot guy from Taco Bell that kept looking at me with the frat shirt on! Yay! Well, too bad I am over the dream. Hahaha.

6.10.06

Hey, Mr. DJ

Techno, techno, techno. Why are you so great?

Anyway, I just got back from Taco Bell. It was pretty fun. I learned one very valuable thing. If you take pictures with a flash on in a public place, be prepared for people to turn and look at you.

I saw some very interesting folks there. I saw a college guy that look almost exactly like Spiderman. I saw a guy that look like a clone of my teacher, but with different colored hair. I also saw a lot of... interesting couples (in frat shirts)?

Well, it was a great time. That's the point of me writing this.

Today was such a happy day. Free pizza at lunch, pep session(okay, this is a minus), dating situation is looking up a bit, and other stuffs... it was just enjoyable. Ryo and Tiffany should get here soon. I can't wait. What great icing to a Friday evening!

I'm baaaaack!

Hello,

I got a computer last week and I am all settled in. You know what that means!? I get to write in my blog again!

I gotta go to school now though, but I'll see you sometime this weekend.

I got bored.

I got bored today, and decided to make a web browser with Visual Baisc. Unfortunately the version of Visual Basic I get from school doesn't allow me to create exe's so, I can't like provide it for download or anything. Here's a screenshot.

Misquito Buzz

I don't know if you've heard about it, but there is this sound at a certain frequency that adults can't hear, but teens can. I found the file. My dad doesn't hear a thing. Here it is:

Misquito Buzz.

Enjoy.

Packaging

Today, in Creative Writing, we were asked for words that came to mind when we heard 'beach.' The class eagerly brainstormed words that the teacher's assistant wrote on the board. Once the board was filled, we were asked to write a discriptive journal entry about the beach... Ahem... Without using any of the words on the board. Here's what I came up with:

The mist blew over my face. I could feel the tiny stings of perspiration over my body. I glance across the vast sea. My mind is at peace as the pinkish colors begin to climax. Our guiding star is fading slowly over the horizon. It moves over the Atlantic to a new hemisphere, a different world. I can still see the whole sphere in the sky as I lie there, basking in its fading warmth. A light flow of air blows across my face, and heads out to the vast sea. The pinks and the oranges begin to fade now. There is no longer a full circle in the sky. I hear another crash, and the mist quenches my parched skin. I notice how the sea's level was considerably higher than when I arrived. To my right, I see three couples. To my left, I see two families, and all are completely absorbed in watching the scene. Even the children stop harrassing the white-winged pickpockets to see the natural colors fade to another place.

The sky became dark, but I could still hear the crash. I could still feel the mist, but the show was over. We were left with an erie darkness. The abyss up ahead was overwhelming. I stared into it for awhile, and then made my way back to the cottage on the hill.

The French Dictionary Adventures

Two days ago, I started the journey. I hopped in my car, and headed down to the Levee. Once there, I parked, got out of my car, and then finally made my way into Borders.

I started to look at the newest deals on the Popular Fiction table. I realized that I had a mission, so I went on my search for the Foreign Language section. I headed back towards the 'Literature' section, first. I didn't see anything that had to do with any language other than our own there. I spin around. An employee is standing at a music sampling station and blasting music really loud. I figured he was bored and had too much free time on his hands, so I decided to ask him where the foreign language section of the store was. After pointing the way, I headed down there.

I began scanning the shelves for the French books. Once I found them, I looked for the French-English dictionaries. I spot them.
Wait a second. What is the title of the French Dictionary I was supposed to get? Shit. I left that paper with the title on it at home. Goddamnit. I think that it had a name in it or something. Hmmm, not Mariam Webster... Ah! Maybe this is it. Harper Collins.
I grabbed the Harper Collins version of the dictionary, checked out and left the store. I arrive back at home, open my notebook to do the French, and realize that I had gotten the wrong dictionary. It is supposed to be the Bantam New College French-English dictionary. Damn, mother fucker. I was happy I still had the receipt.

Now let's leap forward to today. I convince my dad to take me to Borders (so I don't have to use my gas), and we return my book. I head back down to the Foreign Language section only to find a girl in my French class picking up the last copy of the Bantam New College French-English dictionary.
Shit, mother fucking, cock-sucking, bastard.
So, I go back to my dad and sister, and we leave Borders with haste. I figured Barnes & Noble would have at elast one copy of this dictionary, so that's where we headed next.

Barnes & Noble was quite crowded, considering Purdue is starting this Monday. I weave through the crowd to the back of the store where the Foreign Language section is. My eyes moved back and forth, reading the titles. My mouth changed from it's usual smirk to pure disgust when I found that Barnes & Noble didn't have the book in stock, either.

We hop back into the car, and head to the mall across the street. I run into Walden Books, and have no luck there, either.
This is not my day.

My dad gets an idea, "Let's go to University Bookstore."

We go back to the other side of town that we just had come from.

Campus is a mess. So many people. I get dizzy.

My uncle is a part owner of University Bookstore, so I figure we might get a discount on the book.
Bonus.

We weave through an even denser crowd than before, and arrive at the text book section of the store. As I move down a staircase, I see the French-English dictionaries all lined up. I got excited, and started to read all of the titles. My heart lept. There it is.

I snatch two copies, one for Ryo, and one for myself. Two copies remain.

We run into my uncle, and he says that he'll give us two dollars off both of the books. Oh happy day!

My lament.

Hello, my long lost love.

I feel terribly sorry that I have not written in you for such a long time. It makes me sad.

Okay, so in the time I have been away, what's happened. Everything. First of all, you turned one year old! Yipee, this is such a nice accomplishment.

Then, three days ago, school started. It's such a drag. I feel the pressure already bearing down on my shoulders. I would have to say the class that I am most eager about is Creative Writing. The teacher is freaking awesome.

Then, I got to go to an anime convention with my cousin and best friend. It was pretty pimpin'. I think I am going to hang out with that cousin, Molly, tomorrow. It should be a good time. The convention was great. I got tons of free stuff, and all of these neat posters that are hanging on my wall.

I feel a bit depressed right now, but it is such a petty reason, that I am already starting to feel like I am over it. I am so lame. I wish that I didn't care about things like this, but I can't help it. This sorta hurt my feelings. Oh well, I move ahead.

Oh yes! I am also taking computer programming with the completely awesome Mrs. Lasley. It's is such a blast. Well, all we have really done this far is learn about the history of computers and stuff. I have to admit, though, it's still extrememly interesting. I must be like overly enthusiastic about this class or something.

The dating situation... it isn't going to great. I keep wanting to meet new people, but I mean, who is there? Seriously. This is too hard. Boo. That's all I have to say there... except for this crush... I won't go into that. It's probably a big disaster waiting to occur.

So, yeah, that's the scoop, and I feel horrendous about this whole broken laptop deal. I am thinking that it is getting closer to being fixed.

I'll post back as soon as I can.

Of Deer and Dog

The people that come to my work are completely neurotic. Well, I'm sure my job attracts a more mild crowd than a VP posiition, but I have my moments.

Yesterday, the family came that I nicknamed 'Heads of the Psycos.' Okay, the little 5 year old girl, Casandra, comes skipping in with that creepy smirk on her face, cheapo plastic sunglasses, and an old lady visor. I can just picture her creepy little eyes under the white and pink framed glasses. I try to keep my mind on happier things. She runs up to me and says 'I want a refund!' I said, 'What do you need a refund for?'

'I want a refund!'

'What for!?'

'For fun!'

BAH! So then, she gets her little friend of the same age to join in on the 'harrass the pool supervisor' fun. So I sit there while they both scream at me for a refund, and I wonder why. I figure it's probably because the girl's father is a very demanding man, and has probably screamed that he wanted a refund to many store clerks and managers. I wake from my daze of picturing the father yelling at shop managers to find the little girls still yelling at me for a refund. The father is standing in the pool laughing at them... well, probably he was laughing at me.

They finally stopped once I smirked at them. I didn't smirk because they were funny. I smirked because I pictured myself stealing the litle girl's sun glasses and breaking the cheap frame right in half. God, the little monsters.

The littlest of the family is always trying to swim around the pool. She always does this creepy blinking thing like she just went blind, and communicates by screaming.

The father pissed me off once when he started doing my job.

The mother... oh my, the mother. She just sits there and tries really hard to be social with the neighbors. The only thing is, she always talks about herself. I have never heard he talk about anyone other than her own perfect self. I basically know her life story now. I know that she will never get another dog because of a bad experience that she had with her favorite dog. I also know that she saw a deer two nights ago (I heard this one twice).

Wow, psycos.

The Squid and the Whale

Okay, I watched a very cool movie last night.

Well, unfortunately I didn't get to see all of it. I was really uncomfortable watching a movie like that when my dad was right next to me watching it too. Well, the movie started out innocent enough making me laugh a lot, and if I were alone, I would've definitely watched the whole thing. Unfortunately, it went over the edge of comfort when the kid was in the library masturbating and then smearing his semen on the books. It was not something you want to be watching with the parentals in the room. Talk about akward (I thought the movie was funny in its own disgusting way, but didn't show it).

So, I said, "That's really gross." and shut the movie off. So, what I learned is: Do not watch indie films with your parents in the room. It dooms akward situations.

I also watched the movie The Hills Have Eyes. Personally, I would've prefered The Squid and the Whale, but that was a bit too much for the moment. The Hills Have Eyes would better be titled as The Massacre of the Mutants. That movie was horribly gory! It was made fine, but it was just so over the top. I would not consider it a scary movie, just a shocking movie. I liked the background music though. It was very suave. It didn't really fit the 60's mining theme that they had set.

I love Family Video.

24.6.06

Networking

Lately, I have become the networking masta.

As I said before in the last post, I have been super social lately. Well, that's because of the wonderful world of networking. It's pretty fun stuff. One person knows like 1000 people or more, and then your goal is to meet every single one of them. It's pretty fun stuff. And when you go to the grocery store or a restaurant. Remember your cashier's name and face so that you can recognize them in public. It's great, stalkerish fun.

The sad thing is, today people know a third less people than they did a couple decades ago. That sorta depressed me, and I wondered if I fell into that category too. I want to be a positive oulier! W00t.

Well, the two others are screaming at me that it's their turn, so I must leave, bye.

22.6.06

Freetime time.

Hello,

I have some free time and I am writing a post. It's pretty neat.

I finally got my driver's licence after waiting forever. So, I am driving all around town. Well, not really. Gas is too expensive. Oh about gas! My car gets great milage. I love it. That has to be the best quality of my car.

Bah! I have been talking on Gtalk and AIM way too much! That's why I haven't been posting here. I keep wanting to write stupid smiley faces next to every sentence. Somebody. Please. Kill me now.

Haha, well, I guess it's not that bad. It's good to be social- an important skill for everyday life. I think that I have had a super high dosage of communication though for a few days. I am ready to go on a private island retreat, or something. Wow, I shamed like such a hermit, but maybe I am?

Gosh, today was crazy at the pool! This was the first day I did opening, and it was blistering hot the whole time I was doing the morning duties (take about 2 hours). Then, only one hour into opening, a storm appeared in the sky out of nowhere, and within 5 minutes, we were getting drenched and tables were blowing over. It was pretty scary, and quite amazing. It was like a flash severe thunderstorm or something. Well, that meant that she didn't get my paycheck to me, and if I want it before Saturday, I will have to call her. Soo, I guess I'll just sit tight for a day or two until I see the boss again.

Gosh, the TV is so annoying. The only real reason for cable is Internet. If the Internet didn't exist, I will go on an anti-cable coalition. It's so poisoning. I guess it can be educational. Maybe my coalition wouldn't be against the History Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, National Geographic, or news channels, but it would surely go against MTV, VH1, Cartoon Network (I admit I watch this), Comedy Central, etc, just to name a few.

Oh my, there I go on my strange rants that nobody cares about. People just think I need to go back to 5th grade when I start talking like that.

Oh, well.

Busy, Busy

Sorry, I have been very busy the past few days, between moving, job, and father's day, it's been too hectic to post.

Gotta go fast.

Checked in.

I ♥ Huckabees

I just watched the strangest movie of my life. It is called I ♥ Huckabees.

It is so strange I can't even begin to explain it. Since I am at loss of words after watching it, I'll let theInternet Movie Database give the movie's summary.

"Determined to solve the coincidence of seeing the same conspicuous stranger three times in a day, Albert hires a pair of existentialist detectives, who insist on spying on his everyday life while sharing their views on life and the nature of the universe."

It is a fabulous movie, watch it.

I didn't really understand much of the movie, I mean, I understood the main points, but most of it left me in the dust. Still, this movie hit a spot on me. It gave me chills a few times, and now I feel very dizzy. I think I am just tripping from those pills. Maybe I should sleep before I pass out.

I work tomorrow. The pool again. Only, this time it is for 7 hours instead of 6. I am kinda excited to actually do something with my day.

Wow, I am rocking back and forth. So mesmerized.

11.6.06

- - - - - - - - - - Nip/Tuck - - - - - - - - - -

So, last night while lying in bed, I was trying to find a good TV show to watch. I was flipping through the channels when I can across FX. On FX, Nip/Tuck was playing. I had seen an episode or two, and sorta enjoyed them, so I stayed to watch. I kept on watching and watching the two episodes that were played in a row, and I found that I really like that show! It's on the top of my list now. The show was made fantastically, and there is a new season coming out this fall. It will give me something to look forward to during the school year. w00t.

So, then today, I saw the Disney/Pixar movie, Cars. It was a really great movie. So good, that it even got Ryo (the critic) to give it a 'It was beautiful.' It was great, when Ryo said that, my mom responded with a, 'Are you being sarcastic?'
For the record, Ryo was supposedly serious.
So, Cars was great, Nip/Tuck is great and I am progressing in Super Smash Bros! w00t-3s7.

The fourth Dimension

I searched for an answer to the fourth dimension. Many say it is simply 'time,' but that doesn't cut it for me. I want to see it!

So, I found this really nice animated GIF that helped me see a theory very well:

Stare at this for a while, and something just might click.

Drag time!

Last night, I dressed in drag.

It was very interesting, and pretty funny. My sister dressed up as an army man. We sorta just put on each others clothes and walked out to my brother and his friends that were camping in our backyard. It was great fun to act like a girl, and I'm sure my sister had a lot of fun in her army garb.

So, what I did was take eyeliner, and lined my lips with it. Then, on both corners of my mouth, I made hooks going up. Then, I put some eye shadow in the inside of lip lines to make my lips shimmer (haha). After that, I put some blush and mascara on. It was quite intense.

If you think my makeup was strange, listen to what I wore! I wore an old biker cap with a chain on it, it was a barett-style hat. Then, I wore a black tank top undershirt and my sister's leather and dalmatian jacket (came to about midriff). After I got all this on, we searched for pants that I could wear. I asked my sister if she had any old pants that she would let me wear, and she said, 'no'. But, we managed to find a pair of jeans that were too small for her, and I managed to fit all of my lower half inside of them. It was quite intense, but very funny.

So, we went out and harassed my brother and his friends, then headed back in to relieve ourselves of the uncomfortable clothing.

It's me!

Here!

I finally got some (bad quality) pictures of me so you people can see me with shorter hair.

There we go.

Have fun. Lick them up. Dress them in latex. Enjoy 00

Summron Adventrons

So, yesterday, Ryo visited my house.

It was pretty exciting. We played Super Smash Bros, and went hiking. Just in the short time Ryo was over and playing Super Smash Bros with me, I improved a lot. This is due to the fact that he taught me how to properly execute smash attacks. I knew they exsisted, and I sorta knew how to do it, but I really didn't know how to pull it off. So, now I am working on pulling off the smash attacks during battle. It is quite intense. I practiced a lot last night.

Then, we went hiking down in the trails behind my house.

It was very intense.

We had a very safe trip, though.

Yeeeeeah, the trip was a bit scary at times. For a while, we were just walking down the path like civilized humans. Later, we started throwing rocks in the creek, but even that can get boring. So, I decided to climb a solid dirt hill with rocks jutting out of it. The hill was about... 70o, I'd say. So, the path is halfway up this approximately 40 foot total hill. The top is grassy, the bottom feeds out into the creek. So, I start climbing. I head in the upward direction from the pathway. At this point, it's about 20 feet up to the very top of the hill where it flattens, and the grass starts. I wanted to reach this grassy zone. So, I grab onto the first rock and start pulling myself upward. I get about halfway up the top half, and I reach for a rock that appears to be securely in the earth. Unfortunately, it came out of the ground easier than expected. I didn't want this rock to roll down and hit Ryo on the path, so I tried to keep it in my hand while balancing on the other little rocks.

This is where my voyage takes a turn. I begin heading down the hill. Yeah, down. At first, I was moving feet first, but facing the hill. I managed to turn around, still feet first, but facing outwards. It really is amazing at the amount of thoughts that pass your mind at moments like this. My descent was a quick one. I eventually reached the path with the rock that came out still in hand, not wanting it to hit Ryo. So, I realized that the situation was beginning to get much worse. The path marks an even steeper descent downwards straight into the creek. There is a good 20 feet left to roll.

Fortunately, there is a chain railing at the edge of the path. As I went speeding past the pathway, I managed to let go of the wretched rock, and grab onto the chain railing. At this point, I am thinking, "I hope this thing can hold up."

It did, I survived with only a minor injury on my knee.

It was a quite intense experience. I hope to do it again someday.

Fauxhawk-ness

I got a haircut, and feel much better than earlier.

Here's an idea of what my hair looks like now:

Interesting, eh?

Just so you know, I was one of the first people to do a fauxhawk back in the day.

BIOTCHES

I think I'm stoned.

28.5.06

I returned, so what?

God,

I am so fucking exhaused.

I am sick of the car.

I feel behind on school work.

I am afraid somebody is trying to avoid me.

And I am embarassed about a shitty experience trying to find a job.

How could this summer start off any better?

Maybe:

If I were puking in the toilet.

If I were puking in my lap.

If I were licking my puke off the floor and chewing on the suprisingly whole hot dog I had eaten a week earlier?

God Damnit.

I have nothing to complain about. I should fucking shutup. Maybe I will go take some decongestants, they always make me feel better.

23.5.06

You won't S-E-X with me.

Hello,

Ignore the absurd title. I just can't get that line out of my head. Dammit! Get your fucking head out of the gutter!

(The line's from a song)

Okay, I'm better now. And don't worry. I will practice absinence for a long time. I wouldn't give in during my teenage years!

Now...
...Onto better things.

New school schedule.

The highlighted ones are first semester

There it is. Lick it up. Enjoy it.

And in other news, I designed two T-shirts today.
I guess you could say it was actually quite fun!
My newest issue of Wired had a filler thing about this site called Threadless.com.
So, I went, checked it out, signed up, designed two shirts, and called it quits. For now at least.

Here are my two shirt designs. If they are approved, you can actually vote for them and buy them. Yay.

After making those T-shirts, I decided to make some salmon fillets from a whole salmon.

I had no experience with preparing fish, so it was quite an adventure. I found a guide online on how to create a perfect salmon fillet. Mine turned out a bit less than perfect more like a lot less.

But, I got some meat out of the fish, and only 6 teeny bones were found in the fish during the meal. Impressed? Of course you are.

So, my day was almost eventful.

School ends for this season tomorrow. I'm hardly excited.

22.5.06

Bucking Fitch

Bloop.

I finished typing my paper for foods class, and almost all the hard work of the school year has come to a halt.

I feel like not typing, but I will.

Typing. T-Y-P-I-N-G.

Wow, I need to do something much more productive than this.

Wait, this is kinda relaxing.

Tooooodaaaaay, waaass succccckkky!

But, it's over now. No more Mondays this school year. Yipee.

This is sort of how my mind runs when I don't have much to think about.

I kinda jump from one odd sounding phrase to the next:

My body is so Bootylicious.

I think that I might eat some cheez-its. They are delicious.

Just like De.Lic.io.us. Fuck, is that how that goes?

Oh, yeah. I didn't put the pair of underwear on I thought I did.

Stuff like that starts jumping through the oddly shaped vessels of my mind.

This is such a nonsensical post.

Maybe I shouldn't publish it.

If you read this, I obviously did.

What a fucking waste of everybody's time.

I am killing my bootylicious time.

I shouldn't bee killing yours.

Good NIGHT!!

Folge mir ins licht.

Community Service

Yesterday, I supported communism by volunteering at the neighborhood pool.

It was quite intense work. I think we (Ryo and I) worked for either 4 or 5 hours.

We painted at least 20 benches (by hand) and then painted 3 chairs and one table.

But, we got all of the work finished, and we have gained ourselves some sort of reputation amongst the neighborhood board.

Yawn. It was exhausting work.

Plus, the paint got all over my legs, feet, and arms. That was one of the worst parts of all. Getting the damned paint off of my body. But, that is fortunately all finished too!

So, I feel like I actually accomplished something for my weekend other than studying for these wretched finals.

Before going to help at the pool, I went over to Ryo's house to study for French. We studied for about half an hour or so, until we decided we were set for the upcoming final. After the studying, we headed outside to take pictures of ourselves jumping in the air. It was surprisingly great fun, and some nice photos came out of it.

To see a few of the photos, jump on over to Ryo's Blog.

The best part of all of this is:

It's finally the last weekend before summer vacation! Wew-Whoo!

Neat

'Neat.'

I really like this word.

It just says so much!

Well, not really.

But, it does have many meanings:

Neat:

  1. Orderly and clean; tidy.

  2. Orderly and precise in procedure; systematic.

  3. Marked by ingenuity and skill; adroit: a neat turn of phrase.

  4. Not diluted or mixed with other substances: neat whiskey.

  5. Left after all deductions; net: neat profit.

  6. Slang. Wonderful; terrific: That was a neat party.

  7. A cow or other domestic bovine animal.

Neat is the neatest
Neat is the neatest of all
Neatest is the neat

Man, I suck at haiku poems. I think I broke a few rules, too.

Oh, well.

16.5.06

Not again!

It happened again.

These abdomen cramps are killing me.

I hope it doesn't happen tomorrow.

Today was about as bad as yesterday. Fotunately, it's over now.

15.5.06

Smelly

Bleh! What is this horrible smell?

Did I pick it up at school somewhere?

Is it the dog walking around my feet?

Why does it smell so horrible?

I didn't fart. I didn't burp. I didn't eat anything funk...

...wait, I did eat something a bit funky in foods class today.
They were supposedly croutons, but I find myself thinking that they were more like moldy bread crumbs. Eww, it is my hands. They smell absolutely volatile. I believe the smell may have come from the horrendous pizza pan we made the croutons on. I think it must've been moldy.

Moldy.

Moldy

.

Moldy.

This is completely disgusting.

I think I am going to go purge myself of this infestation on my fingers.

Okay, I am back. My hands still don't smell better. Hopefully, this isn't one of those stenches that never seem to leave. If it is, I think I may as well go and vomit now to get it over with. When I smell the same disgusting smell for too long, like anyone, I eventually vomit. This is a rather good thing to do though, because now the stench of vomit is infesting your body, so you rid yourself of the previous stench.

Anything

is better than the previous stench,

even if the new one is vomit.

Ah, speaking of vomit. I almost cried earlier.

No, not because I was particularly sad, or feeling bad about my life. It was because of this tremendous stomach cramp that came over me right when I walked into the house. Well, these stomach (more appropriately abdomen) cramps began last summer, and since then, I have concluded that they happen when I leave my bowels unattended. Let me tell you from first hand experience, it is one of the worst feelings I have experienced in my life this far. I think that they must be hereditary or something, because my mother, uncle, and grandpa got them, but my brother and sister don't ever get them.

Oh, my abdomen is still buzzing from the horrible experience.

Surprisingly, the cramps last a very long time. I ran to the bathroom as soon as I stepped in the door from school, and here I am a whole hour later complaining about it. Oh man, they usually get me breaking down into tears and begging for mercy, but fortunately, I handled this one quite well.

I am developing some coping techniques.

Well, to help time pass during my misbowel, I tried reading my new book, Fight Club. It didn't work too well since the pain is so severe.

I suppose that I won't experience real pain for quite some time, but until then, I think I have gotten pretty darn close.

These experiences really drain the energy out of your body. Maybe I will take a nap, but ALAS, there is no time. Too much homework. Maybe I can just lay down as I try to study for the wretched finals which start this Friday.

Too bad my school doesn't make this week a dead week. I am loaded with tons of study guides and busy work.

Hopefully I can get it done quickly and efficiently.

Hope.
It's all I can do at this point.

  • Got dressed

  • Started the salad for foods project.

And here I am now, writing this post.

But, I am finished writing the post now, so bye.

New Phase

My life moves in phases, and yours probably does too.

Usually a phase is characterized by a new scent, and a new feel. They are usually sepereated by some big event. Usually, there is my birthday phase, my Christmas phase, my end-of-school phase, etc.

Now, I have begun a completely new phase. Sometimes, you can have phases that are just like a previous phase in the scent and feel, but it occurs at a different time, but th e[hase I am having now is a completely new one.

Unfortunately, you don't even realize the scent or feel of the current phase until it is over. Even when the phase ends, you have to wait until nostagia kicks in to get a complete feeling of what a past phase was.

Do these phases even happen to anybody else? Or, are they just some strange thing that I have always had?

Who know? You do. Do you have these phase thingies?

New Scheme = New Beginning

So, I have changed the color scheme and logo of this blog, and I hope it is enjoyed by all.

It certainly has my vote.

I guess some people don't like the pixelation effect on the logo, but I absolutely adore it.
Deal with it.

OOMEE GOSH!

Sorry, I will get over my hilljack talk someday.

Well, the reason for such excitement is the Wii console (aka Nintendo Revolutions). All of this E3 coverage is making me antsy!

I cannot bare to wait to get the new Super Smash Bros.: Brawl. It seems like the ultimate.

Plus, it has the new vitural blahness, which is extremely exciting. I can't wait to get Mario World 3 for my Wii (if I ever get one). On top of all this greatness, my friend, Ryo, informs me that Opera is the browser of choice on the Wii. Total greatness.

Wow, I should stop talking about this before I try to steal one or something outrageous.

Alrighty then, Beep, Beep, Beep, Beeeeeeeee...

5 minutes until bus...

Let's see how far I can get in this five minutes.

First of all, last night was a bit depressing. Again, I felt like I was going to start crying with everypassing second. On top of this, for some odd reason, I find my self cussing a whole bunch. I am not exactly sure why though.

Last night, in an attempt to pass time, I read my sister part of her 'traslated for children' Odyssey book. It was actually as close to the story as they could get while including the gruesome details.

Once that book was finished, I guess I just sulked and listened to angry music. I wish teachers would give more homework.

I tried to do my only homework, Chemistry, but I didn't understand it. My teacher needs to explain it better to me today.

So, I actually feel much better right now. I like this blogging deal. Great ventilation.

I guess I must start heading out to the school bus soon; start a new day.

Today is a DDR club day. Second to last meeting. Hopefully it goes well.

Farewell.

Down I Go

What is wrong with me, and why am I so confused?

I feel like a complete nervous wreck.

Actually, I know the answers to these questions, but I won't be telling.

I am beginning to feel myself spiraling downward into the hole of depression. I keep feeling like I am constantly about to cry. No, I guess I don't feel this way all the time, just when I am at home or alone.

I feel so unproductive too. I haven't been keeping up my comic (which was supposed to update today and yesterday, but didn't). That's probably why I am sitting here right now writing this post. I need to have something to keep my mind occupied.

Speaking of keeping my mind occupied, I took a shot at doing this the past two days by reading a book I got at Borders. It is called "Running With Scissors." The book is about a kid growing up in a completely odd life with a psychotic mother and her unorthodox psychiatrist. The author, Augusten, is stuggling with a variety of things in his life including his homosexuality, family, school, and a pedophile he at one points believes he loves.

It's a great book, and I highly recommend it. You better read it fast before the movie comes out later this year.

Running With Scissors, in theaters, September 15, 2006.

AND,
The Grudge 2, in theaters Friday, October 13th.

It sort of sucked.

W.Bloggar

So, Ryo told me about this blogging program called w.bloggar, and I am just now getting around to trying it out.

It's actually quite neat.

  • My day was nice, if any day is.

  • I woke up rather normally.

  • Didn't find too much to eat for breakfast, I can't exactly remember what I choked down.

  • Brushed my teeth.

  • Went to school.

  • Rode a long bus ride, in which I played Super Mario Bros. 3 and listened to angry industrial/ebm music.

  • Arrived at school and headed towards first hour.

  • 1. Chemistry- Went badly. Lab is all screwed up, have lots of homework from that class.

  • 2. Geometry- One of the better Geometry days. We got to use building blocks to create 3D models.

  • 3. Algebra 2- Was quite fun. My friend, Susan, was telling me interesting facts about the Kool-Ade cult. She gave me an oragami rose with a homemade chocolate mint inside.

  • 4. Health- Health sucks. The teacher always picks on me for being quiet. Today he told me that I should watch out, or else I will get a detention. Class laughed; I didn't.

  • 5. English- Gawd, I hate English. My teacher is a mean one. I had a nightmare about her last night. We watched a strange 70's film today.

  • 6. French- Substitute, worksheet, happiness.

  • 7. Nutrition and Wellness- My most boring class of the day today. We didn't really do much of anything.

  • I came home after a nice bus ride with Ryo.

  • Played around on the computer.

  • Got kicked off of the computer.

  • Took a bath and read an anime magazine.

  • Went to my room to watch Patlabor 2: The movie.

  • Feel asleep.

  • Woke up.

  • Ate dinner.

  • Played Mario some more.

  • Made it to the final world without cheating!

  • Wrote this entry.

Stress-Weed

Weed:

What are you thinking about now?

If you are thinking about lawn work, I feel sorry for you.

Well, today, I saw a weed. Not the kind of weed that you eat, drink, pick, smoke, and shove up your butt. I am talking about the kind of weed that I feel sorry for.

When I see a person that makes me feel sad inside, they are labeled as 'Weeds.' There are quite a few people in my Weed Patch, but a new one was added today.

It was quite a depressing thing. This girl received the title of the 'Stress-Weed.'

tear

I begin to feel bad when I start thinking of her and her horrible, pulverized day.

Stress-Weed was my substitute teacher today in my Nutrition and Wellness (cooking class cooking=?) class. Unfortunately, she had also substituted for a Orientation to Life and Careers (Freshman required flunk-off course.) class earlier that day. This is bad for any teacher's ego and sanity to teach a class of unwilling freshman. Believe me on this one. So, by the time it is the last hour of the day (when I have her), she is stressed to bits. The worse thing of all, she had spent loads of her time studying to be a teacher in college.

I could tell she was stressed from all of the freshman insubordination.

She was stressed and angered so bad, that she muttered as she passed me by, "I am dropping my major."

She definately saw the bad side of teaching. I think that she should've subitted her name to be an elementary school sub., so that the children wouldn't be quite as defiant.

So, thus, we have the Stess-Weed.

Comic Host Switch

I just switched the hosting of my webcomic from http://different.smackjeeves.com to www.different.comicgenesis.com.

It seems to make a nice little home there.

I am quite proud of my page template, I think that it turned out rather nicely. There are still a few things I need to figure out with it, (Adding a little text box to the bottom page ect.) but it is really quite vamped up all ready.

I even included a little dropdown navigation bar thingy!

So, you should check out the new page and my comic.

Hello,

I feel horrible.

I swear, I really mean to post!
I just never remember when I am online.

Okay, so, enough with excuses.

What have I been up to all of this time?

Working on my comic. Yes, Different.
I am going to be changing my hosting service either tomorrow or Wednesday to Comic Genesis (Keen Space). So the new URL will be www.different.comicgen.com.

So, for Easter, I got some real ink to use for my comic. I got some Black Magic ink:

Supposedly, this is a really good ink to use for making comics. If you want to see the first page I made with my ink, check out this picture:

Well,

I have been kept extremely busy with the work of my newest comic: Different.

But, I am taking the time to write this post! w00t

So, Today, I am going to head to Live At Graph. It is basically a music talent show at my school. Supposedly, it is really entertaining, but, I'll see soon.

I spent an hour or so last night doing my first poses excercise. It was actually rather fun.

Here is the slopped up page that I practiced with (with some convienent labels added in):

Pangya!

On the 28th, Tuesday, Asia Soft (the creators of Maple Story) released the BETA version for their newest game called Pangya.

It is an MMORPG, but not the kind that you automatically think about when you hear it. It is a golf game in which you can interact with other players, level up, and buy items.

All you need to do to sign up is get an Asia Soft account, get a Pangya account, and then finally download the game client.

>Yeah, it's really annoying to do all this stuff, but for me it was worth it. (I don't even really like golf that much.)

The best part of this game are its awesome 3D, anime style characters, and detailed scenery.

Allo!

Yesterday was the first week day of spring break. It started out rather nicely, as we traveled to this waterfall.

It was actually pretty cool to look at considering it was rather close to here.

After visiting the waterfall, we went to get ice cream at Dairy Queen. I got this delicious banana creme pie Blizzard. Yum!

So, break is starting off almost slowly, but tomorrow...
...tomorrow I head out to Kentucky to cave city! I am going to go spelunking in Mammoth Cave! I will report back on either Friday or Thursday night.

Pi Recite

I found a cool article on Yahoo.com's news:

"SALEM, Va. - A high school student Tuesday recited 8,784 digits of Pi — the non-repeating and non-terminating decimal — likely placing him among the top Pi-reciters in the world.

Gaurav Rajav, 15, had hoped to recite 10,790 digits and set a new record in the United States and North America. But he remembered enough to potentially place third in national and North American Pi recitation and 12th in the world.

His ranking should be verified by the Pi World Ranking List within two months.

"I'm kind of disappointed, but I guess I did OK," said Gaurav, a junior at Salem High School.

But his mathematical feat won the praise of others, including the math and computer science teacher who got Gaurav interested in it.

"I'm still stunned," said Linda Gooding, one of three contest judges. She then joked, "That's a couple more than I can do."

Gaurav began memorizing Pi while a student in Gooding's class. Gooding holds the competition every year, and said she expected students to learn about 40 digits. Gaurav recited nearly 2,990 the first time.

Gaurav's parents promised him an
Xbox 360 video game console if he had reached his goal. His father, Jogesh Rajav, jokingly offered to get him "an Xbox, but no game."

But Gaurav ultimately turned town his mother Seema's offer to buy him the game system anyway because of their deal.

He will try for the record again in May."

The Grow Series

I spent the last few hours playing the Grow games at EyezMaze.com.
Here's what I thought about the three Grow games:

At first, they just seemed a bit silly, and like they had no point or solution. As I played more and more, I began to develop strategies to get my placed items to level up higher. It's quite fascinating, really.

The first thing I played was the original Grow.

Grow
This one had my interest the least. It is kind of plain, and almost boring. The strategy that I tried out on this one that proved most efficient was that I put the things that came chronologically with time. First the mountains, then the egg, ect.
Here's the screenshot that I got using that strategy:

All in all, this one is okay, but not my favorite in the Grow series.

Grow Cube
Next, I tried out the Grow Cube. It's basically the same thing as the original Grow, except it is cube form, and there a different items to place. I figured out that placing the beady things last was a good idea, and always put the water in before people. Don't put the ball on until you have the tube at its second stage, unless it will fall. Here's my high score screenshot:

This one was actually kind of exciting, and it kept my interest for a while.

Grow RPG
This one is my all time favorite in the Grow series. It is just like one of the others, except with a theme, and a small story that takes place at the end. You must place all of the items in the correct order to get the correct story. I actually played it until I figured out the pattern.

The pattern is staying safe with me, though. Don't even ask for it!

Hint>> Think about what need to grow most, and place that first. Some items need to have other items around in order to grow to their full capacity.

Here are some screenshots from the Grow RPG:

So, make sure you check out the grow series at EyezMaze.com!

Digg

I'm not usre if you would recall or not, but a few weeks ago, I did a post on Katamari Damacy flash games. Well, I just submitted that article to Digg.com about half hour ago, and I have already recieved 3 diggs and one comment. It's awesome dude!

Heh, if you check out my counter, and look at the referrals, you will see that the first two or three pages are completely full of referrals from digg.com.

My new CD's songs are pretty neat! I have only made three songs so far, but they are getting better and better with each one.

Half Day

Nice.

I like that word, 'nice,' as its own sentence. It really says a lot, but at a strange abstract angle. You know what I mean?

Today, school was released at the early hour of 10:30(am). So, I spent most of the day playing games with my sister. She really likes Midnight Club 2. It's pretty entertaining. We don't really get competitive with it though. We just sorta drive all around the three cities that are available in the game, Paris, Tokyo, and LA. Our favorite place is Paris. (Mainly due to the fact that I know most of the landmarks there, and it is super fun to ramp of le louvre's pyramid.)

So, tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I am meeting up with my cousin, Molly, that lives in Indianapolis. It's pretty exciting when I see her, because it isn't that often. She is the person that got me into anime, so most of the time, we are going to be watching anime.
It's going to rock. She just got the full Love Hina set, and she may be giving me some anime DVDs from her anime obsessed friend.
I'm rather excited.

This sucks.
French unit test tomorrow.
Fortunately, I thought it was today, so I already did tons of studying.

Bleh. I also have a chemistry test tomorrow. Is it cheating to save numbers in the memory of my calculator. Probably is, oh well.

Haha, that's not as bad as what I did once in 8th grade.

Oh man, that Man.

Erasers make great cheating tools. That's the only other time I have ever cheated. I mean, remembering the scientist's name that coined a specific formula is just stupid to remember.

I usually feel completely horrible after cheating.

Maybe not this time though.

Katamari Damacy! flash edition

It is time for:
KATAMARI DAMACY!

Okay, I sent out on the Internet in search of Katamari Damacy flash games for you at home to play for free!

I am going to tell you about my favorite 3 Katamari Damacy Flash games available on the Internet! Yay!

Okay, let's begin our countdown:
#3 John Tantalo's Version

Okay, this one was bit boring, and it didn't quite grab my interest. The game play is very simple: arrow keys to steer. So, you pick up paper clips, then batteries, then staplers, and then pretty soon you have made your way up to phones. Once you reach this point, you might as well not even play anymore. The game just goes on infinitely. The phones start to turn into dots, and you too will begin to follow suit.

Overall, this game isn't too great, but it is still a bit relaxing to play.

#2 Foreverkul Version at Newgrounds

This one is very good! I enjoyed playing it. It lasted a while, had a large variety of objects, and best of all gave you a score!
To play, you just steer around the katamari with the arrow keys, and pick things up (duh). So, one of the best parts of this game is the wonderful background music that you can optionally turn on. Unfortunately though, when it is on and a lot of objects remain, the game gets extremely laggy.

Besides this, you can probably see why this game fell into second place on the countdown.

#1 Official Namco Katamari Flash Game

Yay, it's finally an official version! That's one of the main reasons that this version falls into slot number 1.

Okay, this one is a bit more complex, so allow me to explain:

You start at a desertish place and you can choose from a series of number of plays. This is the amount of katamari cousins are on the screen at once (you control them all).

Secret: If you click on the little arrow on the top of the pyramid, you unlock a 40 play option.

Now, when the game starts, the sexy music starts to play. This is good.

The first thing you need to realize is that you are controlling the King of All Cosmos's head around the screen. The cousins all follow your head. You have to be careful not to move too slowly, because the cousins will ram into the cursor and loose all of their items. You also have to take caution once your katamari gets fairly large. When this happens, you need to avoid the katamari at all costs. It will roll you right up! If this happens, it's a death wish. You have to left click the mouse to eject everything off of the katamari and start fresh.

So, I hope you enjoyed the Katamari Damacy! flash edition countdown!

Bye!

2.3.06

21.12

Woah, this is awesome. I found the World's simplest game! Oh, how frustrating its wonders are!

Okay, go here: Box Game.

You have to drag the red square around without it touching the blue boxes or the walls.

See if you can beat my record of 21.12 seconds. If you do, tell me. Or, better yet, take a screenshot! That way, there's proof.

Eh hem, Strategy:
Okay, here's the best strategy I've found.
Right when it starts, move the box down. Right as the path way clears, try to get the box to the upper left-hand corner. You can kinda rest there for a bit. Watch for one of the blue squares to come at you around 10 seconds. Once this happens, you flee. You are now just playing a game of dodgems. Heh. I found it easiest to concentrate on the red square, rather than the blue boxes moving around it.

28.2.06

Review it, dumb Crit!

I wish I could be a critic. That would rock. You could sit around all day and tell people what was wrong with their work. "Yes, the piece is good. All except for that horrendous nose!"

Oh yeah.

On other news, I have been drawing a lot of my comic. My style has finally been refined to look rather nice. Unfortunately, there is the issue with the text. Text. It sucks. I wish that I had better handwritting or something, because I am afraid that the general reader won't be able to figure out what I am trying to say. So, to try to approach this issue, I went to the local Borders and read a book on comic book creating. Right when I opened the book, I went to the section on the text. They recommend:

1. Try to do hand-written, it gives it some personality.
2. If the hand-writting is bad, create a personal font.
3. Use default computer text... Sans.

So, I am trying out number one on the list, first. When this doesn't work out, if so, I will create a font. If I just can't get those fonts working. I suppose I can settle for a little comic sans.

I am kinda liking this hand-written idea. It makes the editing part so much easier. All I have to do is scan, crop, save, and post. No text editing whatsoever.

Alright. If you have been recently to check out the Beach Aliens site, you probably noticed the lack of updates. Nonono, this doesn't mean that I have stopped creating it at all. I am just trying to get my hands on my own personal scanner to use (instead of my brother's). So, I am forced to save up my own cash to get my own. Hopefully, I will have it soon. This way, I can post the 5.5 unscanned pages I have sitting on my desk.

Since this post is entitled 'Review it, dumb Crit!,' I will (without further adue) now explain. I plan on trying out new things (like Google Pages post) and talking about them here. If you didn't notice, that was kinda the idea behind the past two posts. I find I get way more page hits when I do this. Hehe. I mean, who really wants to read about what I did during my day?

No, don't get me wrong, I will still do some filler-sort posts about me, but the main focus is changing to the idea of criticism. Oh yes, wonderful criticism. Nope, I couldn't find too much interesting, fresh, and new stuff to write about today, but, maybe tomorrow.

When, which is probably soon, I get sick of being a critic, I will just stop writing those crit-ish articles, and come back to my good ol' style of talking mainly about me.

Hope to see you around.

27.2.06

Of Google Pages and Spores

Google Pages
Yes, I tried out Google's new Google Pages Beta deal. It's a great WYSIWYG editor, but if you are strongly attatched to your HTML, Google Pages is not for you.

I found that the best part of Google Pages was the fact that you didn't have to download anything. It was all embedded on their web's (Google Pages). The unfortunate thing in my case is their lack of Opera support. I had to open up Firefox in order to use it. (Don't worry, you die-hard IE fans can still enjoy it, too.)

Another downside, it has some small (most likely soon-to-be-solved) issues. When you publish your site, it takes approximately 10 minutes for the changes to show up. Sometimes, there are strange issues that preventing you from going to the page at all. But, I'm sure, with time, these issues will be solved. I suppose that's why this is still in its BETA stage.

So, if you:
a) have a Gmail account
b) don't have much webpage building experience
c) don't mind putting up with the BETAness

Then, this is a great thing for you to try out.
If you want to see the page I whipped up in a matter of minutes, go here:Google Pages Sample.

Spore
I am in the local Game Preserve (nerdy, I know) with Ryo on Saturday night, and he tells me about this new game coming out from Maxis (creators of Sims). The game is called Spore. ::Official Site:: Spore is a very cool, extremely innovative idea. You start out as a measly single-celled organism, and you have to evovle and become so advanced that you can actually travel to other people's planet's (with online connection), and interact with them.

This game is bound to be a huge success. It is currently going to be realest for PC, and possibly the XBox 360. I am really hoping that I can find this game on some sort of Play Station console. Whether it's the PS2 or upcoming PS3, I don't care. I just don't want to have anything to do with Xbox, and I don't have a great graphics card on my PC.

So, let's just all hope that this game doesn't require a monthly fee when it is released.

Bye.

A Scanner Darkly

Hello,
I just arrived home from school. Well, about two hours ago.

What did I do in those two hours?

What could possibly keep me entertained for a full two hours?

Hint>>It was just one thing.

If you knew now, without reading ahead, I would be a little scared.

Hint>>I could lay on the couch while doing it

Eh, I'd still be quite freaked out if you knew by this point.

Hint>>It didn't involve the television.

Hint>>It came in the mail.

I could see you getting it by about this point.

Hint>>I read something.

Yes, but what?

Hint>>It was a magazine.

Can you guess which one?

Okay, enough with the guessing game. I'll just tell you. I got my first issue of my year's subscription to Wired magazine. It was really a nice deal. $10 per 12 issues! Yay. I get to have my NERD feed of information.

Well, featured in the magazine (on the cover, actually) was a look at the upcoming movie, A Scanner Darkly. This movie is not your ordinary Sci-fi film. It has a very unique look and feel to it. The movie looks like it is fully animated at times, but at others, you think the characters may be real. This is due to the unique style they used for the recording of the movie. They recorded the movie as usual, but in the editing stages, they transformed the images to get a very unique look. To me, it looks like the images of the loading screen in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Here is a screenshot from the film:

Oh, I hope that this movie releases soon. It is sure to please audiences in a similar way to how Sin City did.

I am excited. I hope you are as well.

Bye.

Another Rainy Monday

Today sucked.
Well, not all day. Mainly just French class.

I got so sad and regretfully mad at myself.

I got a test back, a test that supposedly the 'whole' class did a wonderful job on. The whole class, but of course, me. I am such a freaking retard. I don't know how I could make so many dumb mistakes in one test! Well, my grade is probably ruined in that class now, and my GPA is going to go way down just because of that damn French class. I don't know why it has to be so difficult. I don't think foreign language is my 'thing.'

Goodbye.

17.2.06

Aboo.

It's a secret.

What's a secret?

If I told you, I would have to kill you.
Really.

Achoo! Blesh me. Isn't that so irking?

Don't you just hate it when people say 'blesh' instead of 'bless?' Another thing that really annoys me: words that sound the same, but could still have a several meanings. For instance:

Dove:
a) a bird
b) past tense version of dive

-or-

Tense
a) an area of time
b) to be unrelaxed

Isn't that just so annoying. But, the most annoying thing about this is, that damn chocolate company named their chocolate Dove Chocolate. Which meaning is it supposed to take on? Their logo is a diving dove. So, do they mean the dive dove, or the dove bird? Both?

Oh, I suppose we will never know.

Goodbye.

Drip Drop, The Witch is Dead

Drip drop, drip drop. I am going insane. Well, no I am not, but if I were, I probably wouldn't know it.

If anyone is going insane, it would definately be Ryo. Seriously, it really wouldn't surprise me too much. He works himself so, so, so, so hard, and runs on almost no food or sleep. I admire him for his devoted effort.

So, ryo can make a 3D tank in Blender in about 5 minutes. Shocking, I know.

Anyways, tomorrow may be a bit on the boring side compared to my average day. This is mainly due to the fact that Megan is going to be on an all day field trip, so I won't get to see much of her, talk to her, sit with her at lunch, ect. It is rather nice since we are in almost all of the same classes this semester. It helps the days move along, but tomorrow, oh my. It will be boring.

I am so selfish. I am here talking about myself with great sympathy. I should accredit others a lot more often. I should try to include achievements of my peers in here.

Okay, I already told you about Ryo's 3D tank.

The reason Megan is going on this field trip is so that she can see this print that she had entered into this Scholastic art competition in Indianapolis. She is going to see her artwork on display. (I hear her print is like the first thing you see when you walk into the exhibit!)

My old friend Jenny scored first in the backstroke events in state competitions, and second in butterfly. She is a one of a kind swimmer. I am happy for her. I hope she goes to the Olympics in two years. I'm sure she will.

Hmmmmm.

More peer accomplishements to come in future entries!

Bye!

Rainy Days and Mondays

Okay, well, today isn't rainy. It's quite sunny actually. I just needed a good title for this post.

I have now released a total of ten techno songs. Two of these songs are in the top 50 of their genre on the soundclick.com genre charts.

Yay.

I don't have very much homework to do today.

Yay.

I made it into honors English 11 for next year.

Huge yay.

So, more on that honors English. I had to do this long writing sample a couple weeks ago first thing in the morning since I was a prospect student for honors English 11. So, I go in, as tired as can be, and read this long passage. After writing an analytical essay on the passage, I was finally free to go. So, I wait for about two weeks, then finally get my response. It was funny because my mom had gotten it in the mail before I woke up, and when I came upstairs, she was trying to act all discrete about it so that I would be surprised. I just played along and acted extremely shocked, even though I already could tell I made it from the look on her face, and the way she said, "You got a response about honors English."

It was quite hilarious.

Check out my cool techno: Ethyl.

Enjoy.

Check this out

At this big music community site, I am ranked number 23 on the IMB subgenre charts! This is 23 out of 3,651 songs! Yay, I'm so happy.

Technologic

I have been creating techno like it is going out of style.

But then again, maybe it is.

Hopefully not though, since I just got into the scene first-hand.

To give you an idea of how much this is affecting me, I even had a dream last night related to my techno craze. My dream was very abstract and quite exciting. The other chatacters in my dream were a series of Pop'n musicish cartoony things:

Yeah, quite exciting, eh?

So, I was in this sythesizer competition where you had to pretty much face off with another player in a battle of the keyboards! Well, everyone thought that I was some unexperienced newbie to the world of techno and synths, so they stuck up their noses. To their dismay, I somehow managed to make it to the final competition. As I watched the girl go in front of me for the finals, I got extremely nervous and anxious. "Next up, we have Ryan playing the most difficult syth pattern in the world!"
When all of a sudden "beeep, beeep" My alarm. It sucked. I never will know if I won the competition or not. I am beginning to feel like I am going to cry. That dream was so fantastic. It was like my ideal situation of happiness.

I hope that I get to have that dream again tonight, but I highly doubt it.

If you want to hear my best techno song so far, go here: Raindrops

Enjoy.

First techno song

Hello,

I created my first techno song today! Yay! I used Mad Tracker to create it.

If you want to go to my artist page, go here: My artist page.

Pretty cool huh.

No, it isn't as cool as it could be.

The site I decided to host it at only takes .wma files, and highly supports Windows Media Player. It is quite unfortunate, huh?

I am planning on getting hosting at a better place soon, but his will do for now.

I am not watching the super bowl. Well, yeah, I guess I am.

Comic Begins

Hello,

The first six pages of my comic have been posted on its site for your viewing pleasure. Go here: Beach Aliens.

Heh, I hope you like it. I have been working rather hard on it all week.

Something kinda pissed me off: AOL is trying to amount to the godliness that Google is by creating a free webmail service that provides 2Gig of server space to each user. Unfortunately, it is, of course AOL, plus Gmail gives you over 2Gig and you are always getting more and more.

Stay away from that ugliness that AOL is. Come to the godliness of Gmail.

Oprah, don't lie!

You know what I think about this whole "A Million Little Pieces" story and the guy lying to Oprah?

I think it is complete bullshit.

I think this is all a big sceme to sell the book better. I mean, isn't obvious? Nobody knew about his book until the guy's "secrets" were reveled. Sounds a bit tabloidish to me.

I believe that Oprah and James Frey, the author, are working in conjunction with each other. They are probably both lying. It promoted the book didn't it. A perfect case of reverse psychology! Oprah says, 'Don't buy the book.' and since I have Oprah so much, I think I just might have to buy it!

Other news:
My webcomic's site was launched yesterday! Yipee. This comic is a really good one. Just wait until you actually see the comic. It is rather funny. It maybe a little tiny bit cutesy, buy still, very funny.

Here's the comic's site: |3each /\liens

Enjoy the alien's that are visiting planet Beach!

Ow, my back.

This weekend was rather stressful.

Not outrightly, blantantly stressful. It just gives me the impression that it was when I think back on it. Oh my, I think I have a stress indicator. It is my back. I think that when I get a little bit too stressed, my back begins to ache. Hopefully, it will cease the annoying knotting soon. I am assuming it will since school isn't stressful. Wait a second, yes it is! Damn, this sucks. Now I am going to be hurting really bad.

I am planning on attending a small group at our local library called the Teen Advisory Board this coming Thursday. It basically sounds like a community church youth group minus the God part. My friend Jackie told me about it. It seems like a cool thing to go to. You get to talk about the most recent books you've read, check out more books, and play little game thingies. I think it sounds like some fun.

I just got the first page of my new web comic run off. It is not another lazy one like one of my previous ones. It is one I am planning on getting to look nice, and take some time on. The art style isn't that of anime nor furry. It is a sort of style of its own. I am using marker, pen, and pencil to create a very multicultural picture. I'll post a link to the comic's site soon.

I am sure you are dying to know, what did I do this weekend that created this strangely subtle creeping of this back/stress pain. Well, I basically sat in the house and stared droopily out my basement door's window at the depressing, overcast weather of winter. This winter is extremely strange. The temperatures have been averaging approximately 40 degrees (PS- I don't live near the southern area of the US).

On Friday, I am creating a writing sample to send to the honors program at our school. This will be the deciding factor to tell whether or not I am accepted into honor's English at my high school. I surely hope I do. I mean, my writing skills, in my opinion, are a little bit above average for the average person that's my age. I think many would agree.

I'm not sure if you remember back a while ago when I was writing about how much I hate arrogant people. Well, I have finally come to conclude that I shouldn't have said that. I, unfortunately, am rather arrogant myself. I feel bad for having said anything. I apologize as well.

Anyways, after sitting and staring out the window, I went to sit in a smelly old gym at Purdue to watch my sister have a two hour soccer practice. It was dim in that gym. I don't like dimmness. It depressed my soul even further.

On the brighter side, I had a really good dinner both nights this weekend. Last night, I took the time to make our family some homemade pizza. It turned out really good, too! Then, for dinner tonight, we had sloppy Joes. My mom makes the best SJ's. I am jealous.

Time to get the comic site ready! Bye.

Project Hoshimi

My Algebra 2 teacher, Mrs. Lasley, told me about this really cool contest that is going on all over the US. It is called Project Hoshimi.

Project Hoshimi is a neat contest that incorporates computer programming and problem solving. Check it out here: Hoshimi Challenge.

I had a lot of fun at my aunt's Chinese dinner. It was so delicious. She made some chicken dish and a pork dish. They were both incredibly delicious.

Us cousins all entertained ourselves by adding 'in bed.' to the end of all of our fortunes from the fortune cookies. It was quite immature, but still very, very funny. Here's one I got:

"Your luck is about to drastically change *in bed*."

Haha, here's another:

"Don't rush through, stay and enjoy the scenery *in bed*."

Wow, that was fun.

How did your weekends go?

I guess it's a little late to be asking, since next weekend starts tomorrow night.

Heh, I need to post more often.

21.1.06

Slaying the Chinese Dinner

Today, I am venturing to my aunt's house. She annually has a ethnic dinner at her house. This year, it is Chinese themed. Last year, it was Italien. I do not remember what she did the first year, but anyways, I am pretty excited.

I got into The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker last night. It was pretty exciting. As far as I can tell, I am basically at the game's half point. I am at this super annoying boss that is just two hands and I head. I guess I am supposed to hit the hands' eyes with my arrows twice, the head's eyes twice each, then finally throw a bomb in his mouth. I have to do this over and over until it dies. It is quite stressful, but still exciting.

I have only successfully gone through that whole cycle once, but even then, I don't think I could've done it again with the low life meter I had.

I just watched some of the Slayers I bought last weekend in my room. Yay, I love The Slayers. I watched the three episodes on vol. 5. They are pretty funny. Amelia thinks that it would be useful if she learned Dragon Slay (the most powerful dark magic spell), but unfortunately, she is a clumsy, white magic cleric that shouldn't know block magic. Lina knows this, so she tries to break it to Amelia kindly (by making her do impossible tasks until she gives up). Amelia gets close to giving up, then by a strange chain of events, finally realizes that black magic isn't to be used recklessly.

So, I will definately report back after the dinner. Until then, I am signing out.

BYE!

Getting by

Nothing special has been happening.

It is quite dull.

Oh yes! I forgot! I finally finished reading the Ring Trilogy. It was great, and quite different from the movies that are released in America. It is shocking that such a great story can degrade to a horrible American movie, isn't it?

Well, if you want to see a great (and rather emotional) Japanese movie, see Suicide Club!

Notice the school girls lined up in the background. Well, the intro to the movie is basically all of them laughing, giggling, ect., and then they all jump in front of a train together. Assez interessant, eh?

Je suis tres fatigue. J'adore dormir mais, dormir n'etre pas <(>.<)>.

Woah, I can actually sound like a philosopher in French! Oh lala, c'est assez chouette, oui?

I am getting very sick of sitcoms. I mean, the idea is so...
...obese. Now, thanks to my nutrition and wellness class, everything that is American seems very obese. I know, go figure.

I watched this bon exposition de TV appelé Yes, Dear. C'est assez créateur mais, c'est assez gêner.

So, I suppose I will just stop watching it all together. (Not like I won't hear my sister watch it.)

My sister makes avoiding TV impossible.

Anime on Google Video & Loop

As I was browsing for funny videos on Google Video search, I stumbled acrossed a whole section with anime episodes! So I watched some Chobits and then some Love Hina last night. It was great!

On Friday, I went to the library to pick up a hold that I had available. Of course, this hold was the long awaited Loop book. I have since delved into this book, now over 100 pages into it. It is a great book. It is contantly provokeing my thoughts to come up with strange ideas about those complicated topics no one likes to talk about(the creation of life, ect.).

I'm sure Megan is eager to read the book, so I want to finish it and give it to her.

Speaking of Megan, this Panic! at the Disco CD is great. Thanks!

I went to Indianapolis again yesterday. It was pretty fun, I suppose. First, we went to this strange grocery Store called Trader Joe's.

Yum, taquitos.

Time to eat. Bye.

Calculatus v 1.5

Calculatus v 1.5

I think this can be officially called a 'scientific calculator' now.

Additions- Square root, sine, cosine, tangent, arccosine, arcsine, arctangent, log, log base 10, and pi.
No bugs found.
Limitations- Only two variable equations can be performed. No Parenthesis support.

Calaculatus

I have just now started my newest project.

It is called 'Calculatus.' It is an open-source calculator program, by me!
Just an FYI: The name is created because is is like a bunch of numbers are screaming, 'Calculate us!' I should shut up with my strange corniness.

So, you can go to the Calculatus page here: www.calculatus.blogspot.com, and download it there! <(^.^)>

I am getting sick of this new school schedule. It is always a releif to come home and learn more about computer programming. Then, I usually find myself watching publicans Crisis (only 2 more episodes left!).

So, I am eager to get the Calculatus page set up.

Surface Area Program

I just finished writing a program in C++ that will tell you the surface area of either a circle, triangle, or rectangle/square.

Here is the source code that was used, I don't care what you do with it (I guess this makes it open source <(*.*)> [The indention is probably way off after copying it into here.]):

//
// The 'Area Finder' is a program that will find the area
// of a circle, rectangle or triangle.
//
#include
#include
#include
using namespace std;

int main(int nNumberofArgs, char* pszArgs[])
{
// Circle, triangle, or rectangle

char choice;
cout << "Please choose:\nPress (c) to find the area of a circle.\nPress (r) to find the area of a rectangle.\nPress (t) to find the area of a triangle.\n>>";
cin >> choice;

if (choice == 'c' || choice == 'C')
{
//Area of circle
//Ask for radius, gather
double circleRadius;
cout<<"You have chosen the area of a circle.\n";
cout<<"Please input the length of the:\nRadius>>";
cin >> circleRadius;

//Calculate circle's area
double circleSubArea;
circleSubArea = circleRadius * circleRadius;

double circleArea;
circleArea = circleSubArea * 3.14159265;

//Output circle area answer
cout<<"The circle's area is: ";
cout<< circleArea << endl;

system("PAUSE");
return 0;
}
if (choice == 't' || choice == 'T')
{
//Area of triangle
//Ask for base and height, gather
double triangleBase;
cout <<"You have chosen the area of a triangle\n";
cout <<"Please enter the:\nBase>>";
cin >> triangleBase;
double triangleHeight;
cout <<"Height>>";
cin >> triangleHeight;

//Calculate area of triangle
double triangleSubArea;
triangleSubArea = 0.5 * triangleBase;

double triangleArea;
triangleArea = triangleHeight * triangleSubArea;

//Output triangle area answer
cout <<"The area of the triangle is: ";
cout << triangleArea << endl;

system("PAUSE");
return 0;
}
if (choice == 'r' || choice == 'R')
{
//Area of rectangle
//Ask for base and height, gather
double rectangleBase;
cout <<"You have chosen the area of a rectangle\n";
cout <<"Please enter the:\nBase>>";
cin >> rectangleBase;
double rectangleHeight;
cout <<"Height>>";
cin >> rectangleHeight;

//Calculate area of rectangle
double rectangleArea;
rectangleArea = rectangleBase * rectangleHeight;

//Output rectangle area answer
cout <<"The area of the rectangle is: ";
cout << rectangleArea << endl;

system("PAUSE");
return 0;
}
else
{
cout <<"Invalid input.\nPlease make a new selection";

system("PAUSE");
return 0;
}

// wait until user is ready before terminating program
// to allow the user to see the program results
system("PAUSE");
return 0;

}

You can either compile and run the program yourself, or if you don't know how or are too lazy to do that, you can always just download the .exe here: Surface Area Finder.

Enjoy <(^_^)>

First C++ Program

I went to Borders late last night. I finally had a golden opportunity to use my Christmas money. My mom couldn't complain either, I mean, it's books!

So, I looked around for a bit. I looked in the manga section, and picked up Chobits Vol. 3-6. Since I had my 30% coupon, it wouldn't be such a big dent in my piggy bank. I passed my mom and sister, and they said it was about time to leave, but I had one more thing to check up on first, computer books. I went straight there, and looked through them, quickly. I scanned and saw C# programming books. I though, "Hmmm, I had to return the C# programming book to the library, so I don't have such a good resource for programming anymore." I checked the price. $25. "That's a good price, I wonder..." My eyes scanned to the next section of programming books, it was C++. "I've been wanting to learn C++, maybe I should get this instead." So, I put the C# book back and pick up the C++ book, still only $25.

I sped to put back all but one of the Chobits books. I kept vol. 3. I went to the check out. Right before handing the cashier the coupon I had, I noticed that it said "30% off one book." Heh heh, good thing I put back those Chobits, and I got something that will earn me more of a discount, eh?

So, I get home and start into my C++ book. I read, read, read. I soon come to a section where it says to type what is written in the box into the source code editor. So, I copy down exactly what the book says to. This copying was rather good, I got to see and remember the elements of a basic C++ program. Since I don't quite consider copying actually writing your own, this program didn't count. After countless errors, and rude forum folk, I got this program to run. FINALLY!

Now, since I wanted to create my own program that was 100% original, I started thinking through common math formulas. The Pythagorean Theorem popped into my head, so I decided that I would write a program that would solve for side 'c' of the Pythagorean Theorem. I did the 'a' squared and 'b' squared parts of the coding quickly, without errors. Soon, it was time for the square root. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to any part in my book yet that discusses how to square root with C++ coding, so I searched the net, and soon found what I was looking for.

Now, I have my completed 'Pythagorean Theorem' program! Feel free to use it, distribute it, whatever, I don't care. But, if you can somehow find a way to scam people, and sell it, please give me some of your funds.. heh heh.

Here is the program: Pythagorean Theorem.
